I really like the camera, however, this case scratched the LCD terribly.. so I don't recommend you purchase this case..

Pictures are extremely sharp. The zoom is fantastic. Clarity is good. Picture mode options are fast and really change how great the image looks. I really suggest getting the camara for the battery life, capture time, and quality are better than others.

I bought this camera to take on a vacation to Disney World with my grandchildren. It was very convenient having the case strapped to my belt. I could quickly get the camera out and shoot a picture, then put it back in the case. This left my hands free for other things like holding my 8 month old grandson. The optics are good as is the resolution, but the images are a little "noisy" when viewing very close up. The movie mode and the Dual IS mode both work very well.

Battery life was a concern so I bought a couple of spare batteries and a battery charger. I carried a spare charged battery with me and it came in handy a couple of times. I also bought two additional memory cards.

Overall, for the money, I could not have made a better choice.
