Ok for everybody wondering if these glasses are any good...well...yes, they do what they are supposed to. There is some pro's and cons.

Pro's: cheap price ($20), decent 3D picture, easy pairing, better than passive 3d glasses in my opinion. lightweight, comfortable.

Cons: they dont provide a barrier on the side of the glasses, and are very fragile.

I only use these glasses for when my wife and I have company over, and our guests dont have a problem with them, they're too busy enjoying the 3d content. I wouldnt want to use these myself, as i have the 3100gb. For the money though, these are not bad.

I do prefer the SSG-3100GB over this. However with the price difference this makes much more sense economy wise. After getting over the initial discomfort of putting on a pair of glasses to watch TV (I don't think this is a sustainable habit for long durations). Those glasses will give you the movie theater 3D picture. The problem is they have active shutter technology which means that they darken one side at a time in a very fast method that creates the illusion of 3D. It is true that it is done in a fast way that you won't notice it while looking at TV however if you direct your eyes anywhere their is artificial light like analog VCR/DVD time displays. Your Audio control LCD display. Or the light bulb you'll notice the flicker lighting. Also after a while I do experience some eye strain but I think this applies to all 3D glasses.
Compared to the SSG-3100GB this is a much lighter model (pro) but does not shelter you from the ambient light as much (con)and the wraparound feel of the handles gets uncomfortable after a while.
I believe I clocked close to 10 hours of active use between 3D movies and 3D video games and the battery so far so good.

As far as the 3D effect, they work fine. It's a little bit troublesome in that you can't turn on the glasses until the TV is already in 3D mode, and there's also a noticeable decrease in brightness.

Finally, if you need to wear prescription glasses, you might as well forget using these, as they don't fit well either over or under your regular glasses, and trying to watch TV with just these (and without your normal prescription lenses) is an exercise in frustration because the 3D effect isn't great enough to put up with the resulting blurriness.

3 out of 8 glasses work. 8 guests for dinner and 3-D Imax movie with our new Samsung 3-D Blu-Ray Player, and alas 5 glasses do not work! An hour and a half setting up, reading instructions including trouble shooting to no avail. 3-D looks good with the glasses that do work, but be sure before you make plans that your glasses have the capability of powering on. And it's not a question of old batteries. We tested that as well!

I thought these would work with my Panasonic P60VT60. I used them on my Samsung LED monitor before the Panasonic and they were fine. Aren't all IR active 3D glasses supposed to be cross-compatible?? Here's the tricky part, to the casual observer they appear to be working... You put a 3D movie on, turn the glasses on, you look through them and you don't see 2 separate images, so they must be fine, right? I was trying to enable Stereoscopic 3D on my 3D enabled video card for my PC and the first question asked me to close my left eye and then click on the shape that I saw and then close my right eye and click on the shape that I saw. The problem is that I saw the same shape no matter which lens I was looking through. For some reason both lenses were filtering out the same image. If I popped the more expensive Panasonic 3D glasses on that came with the TV suddenly my left eye saw one image and my right eye saw a completely different image. In other words, these 3D glasses take a 3D image from my Panasonic Viera TV and they only display a 2D image. Very tricky. Don't make the mistake I did.

Samsung matches its 3D TVs to certain glasses. These were the original for the TV I bought and they are OK. They are the least expensive of all of the compatible models. I bought these before they were no longer available. Movies are beginning to be made in home 3D and I will upgrade to more comfortable glasses when the industry has more selection

I have a 2012 TCP55UT50 plasma TV. I ordered several pairs of SSG-5100G glasses that work very well with my TV. The fit with prescription glasses leaves a bit to be desired, though. I read about the SSG-3050G's fitting well with glasses so I gave them a try. They did fit well with glasses on, they were easy to pair, but the 3D effect was noticeably lacking. The picture was sharp, but very little depth. It almost looked like watching 2D with the glasses on. I had several people try both pairs and asked which they preferred and all chose the 5100's for the better 3D effect. I know different variants are made for different years and models,so YMMV. On a side note, having no bearing on this review, Modia was great at getting the glasses to me and then handling the return.

They work fine and are nice and cheap. I will buy a pair that has the side blockers on them the next time, because when the light shines in on the side it disturbs the image for me.

It felt kinda funny first time as the "unfoldable" frame doesn't sit as well on the face. My wife seemed to like it though.

I was excited about these...but they didn't work with my PN63C7000...and older Samsung 3D model. These are bluetooth I suppose...and mine is not. Make sure your's is a newer model.

Aside from that, they were actually very comfortable. I liked them better than the glasses we have, but my girlfriend did not like them because she felt light came in through the sides.

If they had worked, I would have been psyched.

The seller is charging me to return them...so they're getting a 3 out of 5 and because there isn't a list of models they work with.
