5.0 out of 5 stars Works great but watch out!, October 17, 2007

The item is a breeze to set up. Works as intended. I am not a hardcore audiophile but it sounds wonderful to me. There is one gotcha though. I put this in my living room with my Samsung HTX-72 system and shortly after I installed the SWA-3000 my Playstation 3 wireless online connection kept dropping. I have since repositioned my router in my computer room and there isn't an issue anymore. Just be wary if you have a media center or a console using a wireless network connection. There may be some interference issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this amp!, June 28, 2007
This review is from: Samsung SWA-3000 Wireless Module (Electronics)
It does exactly what it states. Wireless rear speakers for your Samsung Home Theater. I haven't noticed any loss from the rear, but I'm not an audiophile either.

Every once in a while I have to turn off the home theater remove the card and re-insert it to get the wireless to reconnect. I'm not sure it's the module though, since the Samsung HT-Q70 (my home theater) has already been in for repair once and seems to be unreliable.

An important piece of advice. If you have an option of buying an extended warranty through any vendor when purchasing a Samsung product you'd better take it. Samsung has a horrible track record for anyone who has been unlucky enough to recieve a faulty item. My Samsung HT-Q70 had a faulty board in it (something that I've read online was wide spread) and lucky for me I had a aftermarket warranty from the place I purchased it. They replaced the board and it hasn't given me any trouble since.

I haven't lost wireless signal to my amp since the repair.
