I tried this device after trying 3 others : Pioneer, Panasonic and one other that wasn't worth remembering. Quit frankly because of the price I didn't expect much but it has been 2 yearsnow and 2 PC's later( I took it with me when I purchased other PC's) and it still is as dependable as when I first opened the box.
