Let me start by saying that Samsung has the best flat panel technology in the world, Samsung is the largest flat panel company and the provider for many of the LCD brands out there. I believe Samsung is getting the best panels for its branded monitors.

I use this monitor at work and I recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to an LCD. It is stylish looking, saves valuable desk space and has a truly excellent image quality.

The technical specs of this display do not match those of the more expensive panels but they make it top of the line in its category. I haven't done any gaming nor movie watching with this monitor (as you can imagine), however with 16 ms response time, it should deliver a decent picture. Moreover, I have watched several short video clips on it and I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality (having a good video card helps too).

As far as office applications and internet use, this is such an improvement over any regular CRT monitor that I urge you to try it. The clarity of the display impressed me and more importantly it eliminated my eyes' irritation caused by staring at a screen for too long. Text and image quality is sharp and crisp. No more headaches, red eyes or other symptoms, you can even tone down the screen brightness to your liking.
Last, this monitor comes with 3 year product warranty.

The only cons are that the monitor stand is limited to tilting the monitor up or down, it doesn't rotate left and right and it doesn't have height adjustment so you might need to work around these things.
