This review is from: Samsung SyncMaster 912T 19" LCD Monitor (Black) (Electronics)
I hooked up this monitor to my Dell P4 2.5G PC and played Need for speed underground on it with no negative video issues. The monitor is very adjustable- tilt up/down/left/right, and you can also tilt it horizontally. Colors are true and clear, and internet navigation views are very good. The only drawback I noticed was that some screen fonts are not crisp, & clean. Some fonts have jagged edges to them. But, overall I would recommend this monitor.Key Numbers- 19" Viewable Diagnonal 3 year part & labor on site warrenty (the only reason I considered it in the first place) Monitor can be used Vertically, or Horizontally Comes with extra cable for dual monitor hookup.

Decent monitor for the price range: a little less than 4 stars,

This review is from: Samsung SyncMaster 912T 19" LCD Monitor (Black) (Electronics)
This flat-panel LCD monitor offers a large screen for a reasonable price. When set to the maximum resolution (1280 x 1024), it offers a sharp picture with little distortion. Lower resolution settings make the display plain ugly: the fonts look smashed together, unevenly shaded, and ragged, making text a chore to read. Since most will want to set the resolution at its maximum, it shouldn't be an issue. The monitor has both digital and analog capabilities, with good brightness and contrast. The power cable is longer than most, great for people who have their CPUs inside desks or slightly removed. The screen angle is extremely easy to adjust and holds its position perfectly, even in small increments. The "manual" is laughable: the text is written in something like 5 point type, and the illustrations (without text) of how to assemble the base are completely undecipherable. Fortunately, assembly is easy and relatively intuitive. The Samsung is both PC and Mac compatible, although Mac users will need a special connector. (I had the adaptor from a previous monitor; if your current monitor is attached to the CPU with a detachable, non-integrated connector, you probably have it.) This monitor is virtually identical to the 913T. Recommended for the price range.
