A great qualitative monitor
This is a great monitor for browsing the internet, basic computer functions, and intensive graphic MMORPG's. Some of the major pros for the monitor itself are the vividness of images expressed, its colors are extremely sharp and look very realistic, while the ability to control the monitors' actual brightness is a plus too. Stay away from this monitor
Just after the warranty was up, the thing comes out of hibernation or sleep mode and enters the "pong" mode with a bouncing message advising it is set to the wrong resolution. Mine is not. Samsung offers no help, but will fix it for the cost of a new one. There are fixes involving soldering a resistor to the circuit board. Removing the power cord helps sometimes. At...

This is a great monitor for browsing the internet, basic computer functions, and intensive graphic MMORPG's. Some of the major pros for the monitor itself are the vividness of images expressed, its colors are extremely sharp and look very realistic, while the ability to control the monitors' actual brightness is a plus too. Some of the cons for the monitor revolve around its pricing, sturdiness (the screen wobbles at the slightest touch), and its function buttons are all black which makes them blend in with the surrounding background color of the monitor. However, despite the latter, the monitor is worth purchasing. So if you want a quality monitor that is actually worth its price tag, and is not flashy, purchase this monitor. You won't be dissapointed if you do.

At first, I thought it was my computer having standby/hibernate problems.
