GOOD - Screen was clean and worked out of the box with no dead pixels.

GOOD - Screen was very bright - Set it at 50% brightness to view light documents and web pages like Amazon without going blind - Images were clean and crisp

BAD - Viewing angle is barely over 90 degrees - If you are not perfectly centered the screen starts to fade - If you look straight on at one side the opposite side is already fading - Anyone looking over your shoulder or in the seat next to you will see a yellowed screen.

BAD - Portrait tilt function does not work - Screen physically moves 90 degrees, but there is no software to manually or automatically flip the screen - What's the point of building in a function, selling it, but not making it work? No updated drivers on Samsung website.

GOOD - DVI cable included

BAD - USB monitor connection option is fine for documents and 2D graphics like photos but it's not meant for gamers or other 3d graphics. This is not made clear in the specs. I found that information else ware.

VERY BAD - A major disappointment from the description and specs provided by Amazon and Samsung.

SKIP IT - If this were a plain jane 19" LCD for $180 it would be worth the money. At $350, keep shopping.

Of all the monitors that my husband owns - this one (pas per him) is most pluggable with the machines, very clear irrespective of the machines and very easy to use. This is the only that he can continue to glare at after 8 hours of work day. The USB connectivity is offered in only this version of the Samsung monitors.

This monitor was the worse I have ever owned as the screen was not bright enough, the colors were off, and text somehow blurry, despite repeated attempts to adjust all of the settings and try the different cable connections (DVI and USB). Then I took the monitor from the US to Europe, and surprisingly everything is just fine. Since I have it attached to the same laptop (Macbook) the only difference is the change from 110V to 220V power. The main advantage is that from the Macbook I can drive the 940UX from the USB connection and a 24" LCD screen from the DVI connection, thereby allowing a laptop to have two external screens. The disadvantage is that the 940UX is overall a poor quality product (ie. a cheap LCD panel and problems with the power supply). The 24" screen I have is superb and it is also a Samsung, so perhaps it's just the 940UX model that is being poorly manufactured.

I like the multiple inputs. If your not into the wide stretch and short fat objects of Wide Screen monitors, this is the way to go. The color is very nice.
