Samsung TR72B Stand for 72-inch DLP HDTVs

I just purchase a Samsung HL 72A650 and the TR72BX Stand. The price for this stand was great, the TV looks Great on the TV Stand. There is only one problem, there is no place you can put a center speaker other than left or right of the TV center. There is a center support which prevents you from centering the speaker under the TV. I really cannot tell the difference in sound but you might. Unless you put a bracket above the TV to support the speaker you might want to reconsider this stand.

this stand is perfect for the 72" I got but the packaging was very shoddy. It had scratched on the surface where the TV sat on. I do recommend this stand however. It is very simple and stylish.

We just installed this stand last night. VERY easy instructions to follow - and the stand is very classy looking. However, like just about everyone else - our stand came damaged due to the cardboard wrapping. The end of the large top piece was damaged.

Very easy to resolve though. I called the manufacturer at 877-490-3338 and they are sending me a new piece - in 8 days by Fed Ex. Easy as pie. Definitely recommend this manufacturer for great customer service!

Mine came damaged as well. The box is NOT secured well enough or padded enough to prevent damage to the main top piece of pressed wood. Otherwise it looks classy and was easy to assemble. The center support is strong, yet makes it tough to consider where to put peripherals. I do like how "open" the design is though so electronics can breathe.

The stand looks great and is very sturdy. Holds lots of components without looking overcrowded. Easy to put together even though the instructions are lacking.

On the negative side, it doesn't have a good place to put a center speaker, and the packaging is not sufficient for UPS shipping. I received mine with a bit of shipping damage (not a big deal in my case as it is pretty minor and hidden on the back). I would guess that shipping damage is pretty common with this item.

Despite the negatives, I'm happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone getting a Samsung DLP.

Stands can be a pain to build especially when the instructions are more complex than the pieces that come with it. This stand was fairly easy to build and the instructions were easy to read. The stand goes great with my t.v. Thank you for being so timely on shipping of this item! I will use this service again and recommend it to other first time online buyers as well!

I have a 56" DLP but i also have speakers that I wanted to put near the TV without bothering with speaker stands and exposed wiring. I bought this stand because I figured I could put the left/right channel next to the screen. It sits perfectly without bowing after a month of use and looks really nice i think.

I used my free trial of amazon prime to get this product shipped overnight for free (usually $250+). No damage, easy to assemble, & unbeatable delivery time.

This product is as advertised. The only downside was the packaging. There were some hidden damage to the top shelf; could be packaged a little better to avoid this problem in shipping.

Some assembly required, but very well illustrated, and parts numbered for ease of assembly. Makes a great addition to your room and matches the Samsung HL72A650 72-Inch 1080p Slim DLP HDTV perfectly with it's Piano Black Bezel, at the Best price I found, and shipped quickly.
