Samsung Tantus HPN6339 63-Inch Flat-Panel Plasma TV

Samsung has created a perfect display for home theater. I mounted it over my fireplace and everyone who sees it, loves it.

From movies, to Football and regular tv, everything looks great.
Three minor things kept me from giving it 5 stars, I would put 4 1/2 if I could.
1) The Dnie image enhancer makes some images look too clear and therefore fake but you can turn it on and off with a single button on the remote, so it's not a big deal.
2) The PC resolution is only 1024x768 with DVI and 1280x1024 Interlaced XGA, higher res. from both would be better.
3) Samsung for whatever reason seems to have changed its remote control codes, so I had to teach all of the tv functions to my universal remote, again not a big deal.

Overall a great display, on sale I dropped 18.5k and another .8k for the wall mount. Which was notable, to hang 150 lbs. in new construction meant cutting out 3' x 2' of the drywall and plaster coating, building in framer boxes between the existing studs and covering that with 3/4" plywood. Again not a huge deal because the set is 5' x 3' so it covers the work, but having a friend who's a carpenter helped out greatly.

Yet another example of scam artists in action. A (...) plasma TV for (...) I doubt it. I have tried ordering these 10 cents on the dollar "values" and all 15 of them have been bogus. Amazon has been really good at kicking these scammers off, but only after they've listed. Wish they'd require a better kind of upfront verification of goods, but oh well, it's always been buyer beware!

I have been emailing every one of the "low-cost" plasma TV sellers in an effort to determine if any are legitimate. My suspicion is that all of them are not. My search continues. Please do not send someone money via Western Union unless you can confirm and/or guarantee delivery of the unit that was specified. Email replies I have received when attempting to place an order included bogus Amazon replies so BEWARE!

I'm finding that really hard to believe. I hope someone at Amazon is reviewing these offers. If there real its a great deal but I don't think they are. I haven't seen a deal like this anywhere

This T.V. was amazing I can't say enough except bigger is always better don't let the rest of the 42' pushers tell you otherwise

This is one of the best items I have purchased at Amazon.com. The picture is great, sound is great. What is there wrong with this product? Nothing. You know, Sumo Wrestling has never looked better. I used to have to sqint my eyes whenever I used to watch Sumo Wrestling on my old 27 inch T.v. This is something you have to buy if your a big sports fan.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen frequent postings for used models for unbelievably low prices? Has anyone successfully purchased one from these sellers? I am in the market for a plasma and found the deal to good to be true...

this plasma is good-ish. Not-ish because it is big and flat, whcih causes owie-zowie headaches. happy AND not-ish plasma consumer..by the way, consumer sounds like you're eating dairy products or something. But plasma is a good TV source but a little bit pricy.
