The most immediately noticeable aspect of the Samsung UN55D8000 is its silver, 0.2 inch "One Design" bezel. In other words, the frame around the viewing screen is extremely thin - upon first glance, this television looks as though it has no frame whatsoever. Because of this, the Samsung UN55D8000 has a very clean, smooth appearance that never looks out of place, even in small or cramped settings.

This really works. I am very pleased with all aspects of this tv. Do not hesitate to order this tv and have it dropped on your door step. Delivery was very helpful and the TV is light enough that you can install it yourself. Connection via USB and router make it a cinch. Then you get the picture, WOW. 3-D glasses work nicely. Ended up with two different types(glasses), but they both work. Ended up paying $18.00 for my free freight leaving a bitter taste. That's not Samsung's fault.

We could not be happier with this TV if we tried. Fantastic crisp, clear picture. So good that the 2D looks 3D. Everything has new depth and superior quality over the TV we replaced. All I can say is WOW! We have played 3D movies in the Blu Ray that was part of the bundle (along with extra 3D glasses), and totally love the 3D pictures we are getting. The HDMI cables provided made for very easy set-up with the Blu Ray. Just plug and play! We did do a little bit of research prior to our purchase and talked to owners of the same TV in an earlier model, so we knew what they thought of the product and performance, but we never expected to be this pleased.
The Smart HUB connected easily to my wireless router and we can stream movies from our PC or internet. The remote is two sided with one side being a QWERTY keyboard for easy internet access. The TV has USB ports that you could hook up a wireless mouse and keyboard if you wanted to.
All in all, we could not have, in my opinion, found a better TV. Go for it, you won't be sorry.

I could not be happier with this purchase. Having researched many LED TV's we settled on the 8000 model of the Samsung. The feature set on this TV is extensive - 240mhz refresh rate, 50K pixels, 3D, wireless. The set is only 1.5 in thick and has virtually no outside frame - the picture appears to be floating. As a bonus, the bundle came with a 3D blueray, 3 6ft 3d ready hdmi cables and 2 pair of 3D glasses with sound capability. The querty remote is an added plus. The picture quality is over the top crisp and clear with vibrant color and deep blacks. For this price you cannot go wrong with this bundle.
