This phone is truly exceptional. I have never had a problem with my V205. With tons of features and enough memory for all my contacts it's better than a Personal Assistant. I have never had a phone with so much battery longevity either, it has only died on me 3 times in over a year. Not to mention the swivel camera allowing me to take pix with my friends not just of them!! No matter where you go the V205 is guaranteed to be the most stylish and popular cell at the party. The Creme de la Creme on any guest list!!

I bought this phone when it first came out in the market in 2002 or 2003, and I am still using it is still working like a catterpillar.

I Had this phone for 3 years t is the best phone ever had
To day my phone is mess up a bit (dropped it lot) still works and it came with 2 battries anyone who buys a phone shold buy a samsung phone they are great.

This phone is great! I got it with 2 batteries, which was really handy as I chat for hours on the phone. It stores 100 pics, although you can't use the pics as a caller id for your friends. I was the envy of all at my graduation 2 years ago, taking pics and emailing them to the people instanteously. Now that is standard, but even most phones now don't store 100 pics!

This flip phone lasted me exactly 2 years (2003-2005). Just yesterday the rotator/barrel thingy broke cuz I had it in my darn pocket. Phone still works, but it flips too far open.

This was a great phone!

I have had this phone since its first released sometime in 2002/2003. Until today (2005), this phone still works as great as it was a brand new phone. The only thing that disappoint me is the infra red port (irda). I know how to activate it but I still do not know whether it is capable of anything, like sending and receiving data.
Other than that, this phone has gone around many places in the world with me: China (mainland), Hongkong, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.
With T-Mobile great service. This phone is truely a world phone.

I just read two other reviews and realized that my Samsung v205 lasted almost exactly two years also. I must agree that this phone is most definetely durable (at least until the two year mark). I need to be honest in saying that the camera aspect of the phone really never impressed me. Comparing the quality to other camera phones, my phone was generally the worst. In addition, the lens always collected dust and debris that was VERY hard to clean out. Some "close-to-two-years" issues I found were the #7 key losing its sensitivity, the side hinge barrel breaking off (which happened while I was simply talking on the phone), and eventually, the internal wiring of the camera ripping in half to where it became nonfunctional. But for lasting two years (and a couple months), I give this phone my esteem.

I purchased my V205 2 years ago. I carefully compared the phone to countless others before I purchased it. It had all the "bell and whistles" that were available at the time, and I have since used them all. I put this phone through its paces throughout its life. It was the most dependable and durable phone I have ever owned. I have dropped it hundreds of times, used it in the rain, left it in the heat, left it in the freezer (don't ask), and driven off in my car with it sitting on the roof. I will miss the little blue flashing light that always let me know that it was still OK. My phone died in its sleep during the night two weeks ago while it was charging. I plan on replacing it with another Samsung...possibly the P735. I can only hope that it will be as good a phone as was the V205.

i had samsung v205 for almost 3 years now and all i can say is it's one of the best phones i have ever had. although there are some darwbacks such as low batt life and sometimes it turns off by itself. Nevertheless, it is the best!i will never regret buying one and im delightful coz it's still working after all the heat, and drop!Viva la V205!
