my child loves it
I bought this for my 10 year old son and he loves it.I have'nt had any problems at all and the design is really modern.I would highly recommend this product,and you can't beat the price.

Poor quality
This VCR jammed two of my prerecorded tapes right out of the box! Very poor quality also shows through the casing. Many features, but not as easy to learn as the other reviews claim. Returned mine and got a much better JVC for the same price at local store.

This is a high quality vcr. I bought it for my son and ever one who sees it is asking me were I got it. It is great for kids because of the child lock feature. More importantly, it is fabulous for adults and seniors because of the large buttons and simplistic design.This one is so easy that Grand ma, can program it with her favorite shows and doesn't have to get reading glasses to look at the buttons.

Easy and fun to use, this VCR is great value for money. Our two year old has already figured out how to use the simple controls, and he loves the puppy animation that acompanies the push of every button. We thought the sound would be poor as it's a mono player, but it's not too bad...especially if you are only listening through the TV. Also, it's a great VCR if you have young kids and are worried about stuff being shoved in the tape slot...the child proof lock has finally put an end to this!

I bought this vcr about a month ago, and have been really pleased. It is very easy to operate, and works well. I rarely hook up electronic devices and this was pretty much a breeze to set up. I haven't noticed anything of poor quality about it. The games can be addicting (though they are very, very, very basic). It's not high-tech, but it serves it's purpose very well. Kids will especially love it.

I use this unit as a second for my bedroom tv and it has just been great.You can pay more for other units but for just watching tapes it is just great and the color is cool.
