The Good:
I like this case a lot. It has a front and back plate that snap together around the side of the phone. I like the price between $7-8 shipped. There are no logos on the case which gives it a clean, professional look. It is also nice and thin so it doesn't make your phone bulky. The vibrant is a slim phone so once the cover is on it feels similar in thickness to an iPhone 3G/3GS without a cover.

Don't get confused with the word rubber, it doesn't mean it is pliable and sticky when they say "rubber feel". The rubber feel is comfortable and practical. It is plastic with a soft texture but it is not sticky like a silicone case. I usually put my phone in my pocket so I want something that is easy to slide in and out. This case is not sticky like a silicone case. I personally don't care for silicone cases because they can brush off the phone at times and stick to your pockets which make them hard to remove when your phone is ringing.

The Bad:
It does show smudges from the oil on your hands. If you use the phone outside or when your hands are not clean and dry it will start to show oily smudges on the case. This isn't a big deal because the case is black and doesn't show smudges easily.
The remedy for smudging is pretty simple; wipe it down with rubbing alcohol from time to time.

Also, the cover is not a glossy, rich color. It is flat black. It still looks nice but you should know that the picture shows less contrast between the shade of black that the phone is and the flat color that the case is. I would prefer it if the case where a little richer in color to match the deep glossy tone of the phone but I am not complaining (it is nice and some people love flat black).

I purchased a Samsung Vibrant and wanted a case the would protect the phone, not be slippery (the phone out of the box is too slippery) and still allow me to carry the phone in a horizontal leather case. This rubbery hard shell case allows me to do all these things! Best part is the important Screen on/off and Volume/Zoom button are not coved and are easily accessible. The case does make is fit a bit more snug in a horizontal leather case - but thats the best way for me to carry it for business purposes. It is well worth the money as T-Mobile had a nearly identical hard shell case for $14.99.

I ordered and returned the Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case for Samsung Vibrant T959 to be replaced by this Skin.
It is much better than the Amzer Brand. Amazon should stop offering the Amzer Skin till they figure out a way to keep the phone secure in the Case.

was hesitant because of the price. but when i got it, it was actually very nice. gives good protection without being too thick. the two pieces snap on securely wit no bulging seams. phone`fits snugly and seems durable enough. the texture does attract oil residue from hands but it wipes off easily. planning to get a second one.

This case is pretty good for the price. It has a nice feel to it and snaps on easily. All cut outs line up great. The order shipped a few days early (thanks). For the price you cant beat it!!

This case was quickly shipped. Fits the phone great. Looks great. Cheap. I recommend this case 100%.

So the picture of this product was appealing. Yet when I opened the case, the thing. LITERALLY. CRACKED.

The picture made it out to seem very durable and of good quality (maybe I should have inferred from the $4 price), but the plastic the product was made from was so very cheap. The lines of the product didn't even all match up, there were gaps in between spaces where the case was supposed to line up, and one of them (I ordered one for me and one for my brother) had chips in the plastic so the case wouldn't even close entirely.

I would have definitely NOT bought this if I could have had a preview of the item before purchasing.

The 2 parts of the case snap together easily enough and fit snugly. I like the feel of the case in my hand and it makes the phone much less slippery. If it had lasted more than a week in that condition, this review would be much better. Unfortunately it got small chips in the top the second week making it difficult to stay snapped shut. It was unusable after 3 weeks since it finally cracked all the way. The phone stayed in my pocket or on my counter most of the time. It was dropped from my couch to my carpeted floor twice, definitely not hard enough to inflict any damage whatsoever. I am currently shopping for a different case.

I purchased this item for my Samsung Vibrant. This item arrived ahead of the projected arrival date and in excellent condition. applying the case to my phone was quick and easy, and the case fits my Samsung Vibrant perfectly. I have not noticed any signal interference with this case at all. I recommend this case to anyone and would definitely purchase from this seller again.

This is the BEST possible cover for a Samsung Vibrant. It fits PERFECTLY. It arrived before the estimated date. It Cost almost half the other covers prices. The soft rubber material looks high quality and great on the phone.
