Be careful. Go to Google and search "Samsung washer won't spin". This washer has a problem spinning. My washer is installed in our basement on a concrete floor. It is level (has been checked by a technician as well as us). The load cannot balance and it won't spin. Once it tries to spin and can't, it throws the load back into a rinse cyle. This machine doesn't have the annoying buzzer that our last machine did. It chimes. At first the dial with all the buttons was intimidating and I thought I would have to read the manual from cover to cover just to run it. However, I soon found out after turning it on how really user friendly it was. It even alarmed letting me know that it's hot water hose was crimped. Sure enough the hose was crimped and after getting it straightened out it was good to go again. It is really easy to pause the cycle too. This machine uses very little water and is very quiet so if your like me you may think something is wrong with it and sit with a flashlight looking in watching in amazement. You can really cram a lot in it and it all come out clean, and unlike top loaders it uses less soap and won't mess your bras up around a central spindle.

This is why the load of wash on "Normal" takes almost 2 hours instead of 58 minutes!! Samsung finally admitted to us through the repair tech that the oil surrounding the drum gets thick at any temperature under 60 degrees. That leads to problems with spinning/balancing the load. If you are putting this washer in your basement or garage or any place it may drop below 60 degrees...think twice. We may try to return this to the store where purchased but I am afraid I will have to fight for it. A very expensive mistake.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great machines, April 15, 2011
This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
When my 5 year old Maytag top loader washer crapped out, I decided to replace my 18 year old dryer as well. I Purchased the matching set of Samsung 330 washer and dryer. If I knew then what I know now, I would have purchased these front loaders a few years ago.
I did a lot of research and found most of these front load washers use much less water, less electricity, and do a better job at cleaning clothes than most top loaders. My laundry is on the 2nd floor of my house so I was concerned about noise and vibration. And of course like everyone else I was looking for the best value for my dollar. Some reviews complain of vibration. Maybe they were not leveled correctly. Mine was delivered and installed professionally. The machine is super quiet and vibration free even to the touch. The only noise or vibration comes from the super fast spin cycle, and even that is much less than my previous top loader.
Here's what I have found so far:
Pros:
Cleans better than top loaders
Will handle much larger loads
Uses less detergent
Uses much less water
Uses less electricity
You can barely hear it run
Very little to no vibration, even to the touch.
The fast spin cycles removes more water from the clothes thereby making the dryers job that much easier.

Cons:
The cycles are about 20% longer than my previous top loader.

We are very pleased with the washing machine. It is very easy to read the front of the machine to do the type of fabric you wish to wash. It is very quiet running and has a set tone to set when finished washing. I could recommend this washing machine to anyone who was interested.

1.0 out of 5 stars Failed after 1 year, 2 days, July 17, 2011

I never really liked how this machine did wash. It was unpredictable in how long the cycle was, whether it would get the HE detergent completely out of your clothes, etc.

But this is what did it for me. An undocumented error code, that requires a service call, appeared on our machine 1 year and 10 days after we bought it (but less than 1 year after we received it since it was back ordered) and Samsung wants to charge me for a service call.

And the manager on the help desk can't do anything about it.

This is only what I can describe as horrible customer service.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better then the old top loader., January 22, 2011
This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
We have had our washing machine for 6 weeks. It is very user friendlyand for the most part quiet. You can get alot of clothes in this machine and they come out very clean, with alot less water and soap used. You do have to use the wrinkle free cycle for clothes that wrinkle easy. The things we don't like about this washer is the self balancing doesn't work very well and the anti-vibration system is a joke. Our washing machine is on the main floor of our house and if you are in the room next to or under the wash room it is very noisey, that's only if the load becomes off balance like jeans and towels.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!!!, January 26, 2012
This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
Do not buy this washer!!! I cannot tell you of the frustration I have had. I had read the previous reviews but purchased it anyway. I figured there were too few reviews to give an accurate representation. Well, what a mistake!!! The washer will spend hours slowly tumbling the clothes, trying to balance the load as it goes into the spin cycle. Eventually, it gives up and re-rinses things. A load can literally take 2 hours. One load took 3 hours before I gave up and took out the wet clothes and air-dried them. And these delayed cycles have happened about half the time I have done laundry. I cannot believe Samsung puts such stuff on the market.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy samsung washer, November 21, 2011
This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
I purchased the Samsung 3.7 VRT washer just over a month ago, and have had nothing but frustration. Most of the time it cannot get itself balanced to spin. Some loads take over 2 hours to complete, and then it might stop with the clothes soaking wet. We replaced the first washer and the second one does the same thing. Since Samsung says this can be normal, it is not acceptable to us. Best Buy has been wonderful. We are now replacing it with a LG washer and dryer. I do not recommend the Samsung at this time!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good - with some caveats, September 30, 2011
This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
First of all - The Samsung WF330 is not 4.3 cu ft. The Feds made them re-list it at the actual capacity, which is 3.7 cu ft. I've had this washer for almost a year now. I bought the extended warranty, which is paid to Samsung, but farmed out to another company. Good luck there - I still can't get my warranty verified, even though it was paid for last year. I hope to hell that the washer doesn't break.

The controls are a basic digital display, and a rotary knob to select the wash program. There are separate selections for water temperature, spin speed, soil level and volume of the "done" chimes, which can modify the pre-programmed rotary knob selection. HE detergend MUST be used, and very little of that.

The washer has a few quirks, but overall I like it. I got it at a sale, and am satisfied with the price. There is a front drain hose with which you can drain all water remaining after a wash (about a quart), which reduces the smell factor (along with ALWAYS drying the door seal and leaving the door open). That drain had a plug you pull out of a rubber hose - a real pain, and my plug broke anyway (after 3 uses). So I went to a hardware store, paid $3 for a plastic lawnmower gasoline shut-off velve. It plugs right into the rubber hose, and draining only requires a quarter turn of this valve - couldn't be easier. That valve is about 3/4 inch in diameter, and fits easily into the cavity supplied. No matter how many rinse cycles I use, there is ALWAYS HE Detergent suds in the drain water - which means that the wash does not rinse completely. Also, Samsung says that you can't use Oxy-Clean in this washer.

VRT (Vibration Reduction Technology) works so-so, but better than some. The estimated times of a full wash cycle, with pre-wash and second rinse (almost necessary) list on the digital display as 1 hour 38 minutes at the start, Try about 2 and a half hours instead. My old top-loader did it in 30 minutes, and the rinse was thorough. Cleaned better, too. The high-speed spin leaves the clothes almost dry - the dryer has very little work to do.

This review is from: Samsung WF330ANW 3.7 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front-Load Washer - White
Ours was wonderful for 3 months.... then start having problems and finally died today with our clothes. Won't turn on, and door is seal shut.
Not our outlet or breaker.
So the nine months old paper weight won't be seen by a tech for 1 week.
***Here's our personal experience that may save you time & money: Don't buy extended warranty unless you like waiting for a week for service.***
Samsung regular warranty can't come out for 1 week & Lowe's 4 yr protection plan can't come for 6 days.
If we didn't pay for the plan, this would be out the door.
I miss my old fashion top load that lasted 15 yrs.
Good luck all
