This is a very good product for the money. The sound quality with the built in speakers is better than expected. Easy to use and battery life between charges is very good. The 9 piece accessory pack if bought on line is very reasonable and recommended.

Bought this because of the reported audio quality and file support capabilities. What a mistake. Many YP-P3 owners, including myself, are experiencing dead touchscreens. Many of the touchscreens fail while under warranty, but many users are experiencing failures shortly (sometmes within days) after the warranty expires. Samsung, of course, refuses to acknowledge the problem.

Ich benutze diesen MP3 Player jetzt seit ca. 6 Monaten.

Besonders mag ich:
- das grosse und recht fehlerfrei reagierende Touch-Display.
- dass der Akku (zwar nicht die versprochenen 24 aber immerhin) etwa 15 Stunden hält
- dass man auch andere Funktionen problemlos nutzen kann (Texte lesen, Audioaufnahme, Taschenrechner, Bilddarstellung)
- dass er .OGG- Dateien problemlos abspielt!!
- dass man die Benutzeroberfläche individuell zusammenstellen und somit von diversem Unsinn befreien kann
- dass ich nicht auf ein Programm wie iTunes oder dergleichen (in diesem Fall Emodio) angewiesen bin um Musik in den Speicher zu laden

Genervt hat mich:
- dass die mitgelieferten Kopfhörer echt Schrott sind!! (ich habe einfach hochwertige dazu gekauft)
- ein Softwareproblem, welches sich aber mit der mitgelieferten Backup-Software problemlos lösen lies
- dass die PC-Software zum archivieren, aufspielen und dergleichen (Emodio) ziemlich schlecht ist (ähnlich wie iTunes)
- dass auch diverser Blödsinn in dem Gerät enthalten ist (zB kleine Spiele, vielleicht freuts ja jemanden, ich finds unnütz) den man erstmal von der Benutzeroberfläche bannen muss
- dass ich bestimmte Funktionen (wie Adressbuch) bis heute nicht verstanden habe^^

Insgesamt hat er sich für mich sehr gelohnt, ich benutze ihn im Augenblick ca. 12 Stunden die Woche. Das Gerät ist zwar etwas grösser als die ganz kleinen MP3-Spieler, aber das stört mich persönlich nicht.

I purchased the samsung 16g p3 mp3 from another distributor, received it on Thurs 8/28/09, had a chance to download music on Sat 8/30/09. There was a software issue and after 1 hour on the phone with tech support, was told to mail it back to Samsung. Samsung's "repair" company recieved my unit on 9/2/2009. Today is 9/25/2009 and I have no repaired unit nor a replacement unit. It took 2 weeks for them to finally agree to replace the unit (which was NEVER even assesed by a technician) and as of 9/23/09 I've been told that Samsung will not issue a refund and it will be another 7 to 14 days to receive a new unit. It is now too late to receive a refund from the distributor in which I purchased the unit once I even receive the new one. I have been reseaching Samsung since this has happened and find I am not alone. This is happening in the US, Canada, and UK. PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING FROM ANOTHER COMPANY!!!! Lest you have a problem, you may never get ANYTHING for the money you have spent. At least go online and find out what has happened to others.

Update..I have now owned the Samsung YPP3JCB 8 GB MP3 Player for almost 2 years and it is an awesome little player. The battery life is still good, sound quality is awesome weather listening thru my earbuds or surround sound speakers. Barring the initial issues I had, I would purchase it again..
