Like others I opted for this more expensive card because I wanted peace of mind that it would work without problems with my Note II. I literally popped this in and it was immediately recognized and works like a charm.

I upgraded from a 32GB card that I managed to outgrow in six months (music junkie). Transfer from my old card to this one was simple. I used the following steps:

(1) Removed the old card from my Note II and placed it into the USB adapter which came with it.

(2) Plugged the USB adapter into my Windows XP laptop and mounted it as a drive. Marked the drive as sharable on my WiFi network.

(3) Inserted the new card into the Note II - it was recognized with no need to format.

(4) Connected to the shared drive (old card connected to my laptop) over WiFi and copied the contents to the new card.

For some reason I lost my playlists, but all of my music and other media came over perfectly. It's as though my storage magically doubled.

One thing I noticed is unlike my older card that heated up when i did the same procedure moving up from 16GB to 32GB is this one runs cool. The older card was a Sandisk, which was otherwise flawless and reliable. I just did not want to push the envelope with a 64GB card buy using anything but a genuine Samsung card because I heard there could be issues with cards in that capacity range. To me it was worth the extra bucks to be safe.

As for speed, I am going to take the lower numbers reported by others at face value. Assuming that this card is nowhere near as fast as Samsung claims, it's still fast enough for me.

If you have a Note II I highly recommend this card if you need the extra storage on your phone. It's a safe choice and works perfectly out of the box.

I got this from Global Mobiles. Instead of coming in the pictured retail packaging it came in a cracked/damaged sd card case that didn't hold the microsd in place (it was just flopping around), which was inserted into a small ziploc bag (I did not have the option nor request amazon's hassle free packaging).. This makes me question whether or not this is actually a new card. That aside I tested the performance of the card and it was WAY below the advertised specs, testing at 10MB/s write and only 1MB/s read. Either the card is defective or a fake.

Was going to buy the $15 cheaper Sandisk model but found out they had a couple bad batches and didn't want to take the chance of getting some old stock that was part of those runs. So I went with the more expensive and supposedly, much faster Samsung model. Samsung is known for reliable storage drives so I'm expecting this to last more than a year like others have had their other brand SD cards die out on them.

Benchmarked thoroughly with A1 SD Benchmark long test at R/W: 18.26MB/13.17MB Definitely not getting 70/30 as advertised.

Look at the package. It says "Micro SDHC". Now look at other Samsung micro sd pro products on Amazon or anywhere else. It will say "Micro SDXC". Any micro sd card above 32gb is designated SDXC.

The seller should explain why Samsung made a typo in their packaging if this is a real product. I am not saying it isn't but this is way too suspicious.

My Note 3 recognizes just for a couple of minutes and then stops working. You format it and the same. I lost my money.
