Sweet little phone,
Got this phone a couple of days ago. I love the small, square form factor. Bright clear screen. Easy to use menus. Qwerty keyboard is adequate, though like most, keys are a little small. Design of faceplate with slider closed is clean and uncluttered, gray and pewter are classy, though I wish they'd had some colors to offer. One thing I don't like is that, when you press any button to get the screen to come on (which I often do to check the time, especially when timing my walks) there is about a 3 second delay while a message appears telling me how to unlock the keypad, which is annoying--wish I could turn this feature off. Otherwise good, clear sound, battery seems pretty good so far, navigation keys easy to use.

Karma slider ATT,

I love this phone, I purchased it on Amazon because I needed a phone w/out a plan and they had the best deal! I had done a lot of research about this phone before purchasing and let me just say the phone is great. Battery life is fantastic, I think maybe I recharge about every 3-4 days even talking on it regularly. The sound quality is good and the buttons are great for typing. Overall I would recommend this phone to anyone.

Terrific Phone - Works like a Charm,

I have had this phone for six months with the prepaid option and I love it. It is easy to use, has a long battery life, and is one of the best cell phones I have purchased in the past 8 years. I rarely use the camera or alarm. I just wanted a phone that I can depend on and this fits the bill. Should have gone this prepaid route long ago, it is saving me a bundle.

This phone is good as a backup, or as a low-cost prepaid phone. Pretty basic, long battery life. Not bad.

So glad I bought this!,

I was looking for a phone that would multi-task for me. I love gadgets but I was tired of traveling with so many. I also wanted a QWERTY keyboard and slider phone that had a user-friendly keyboard.
I got what I wanted in this phone. I am using a memory card and I have all of my music on the phone so I don't have to carry my music player. I have GPS thru my phone service and can use it on this phone so I don't have to carry a separate GPS system. I can set alarms so I don't need to take a travel alarm clock. I can access facebook, games, and many other apps so I don't have to pull out my computer at the airport when I am delayed. The QWERTY keyboard is so easy to use and there is no risk of accidentally dialing because of the slider. Great phone and it also has a cool look so I have gotten a lot of compliments on it! Now if they could only make one of these with a decent camera, I would be set. (iPhones don't have a decent camera either so I'm not budging from my Karma.)

Motorola Karma Qa1,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The Motorola is a very good phone. The product meets or exceeds its description for operating time and capabilities. The only problem is that the documentation is lacking. The plan with AT&T takes patience. Eventhough the sale stated that you could transfer you number there were problems getting the change processed. The sale also stated no charge for having the plan processed. AT&T was the cause for these issues, Amazon was the reason they were corrected, but there was still the inconvenience. AT&T is going to refund the connection fee after the third bill; we will see if that occurs or if I still have to contact Amazon. The issue was with AT&T, but the Amazon did not let the consumer know that the connection charge would occur, but was refunded. All in all, I am very satisfied.

I was hoping for better from Motorola. The reception is horrible and the other person on the line hears echos. Would not buy again.

Samsung makes some pretty crappy phones but this has to be the worst of the worst. I needed a new phone without extending my t-mobile contract and this happened to be on sale (first sign to not get it).
Problems so far: Falls apart easily (Back slides off and battery pops out) Bad sound quality (sometimes it sounds like your underwater or talking in a box) Random missed calls Horrible Reception Only Pros: good battery life (very rare for a samsung phone) Don't buy it! Save yourself the trouble. |
