Samurai Deeper Kyo picked up by new publisher,
By ChanLee (York, PA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Samurai Deeper Kyo Volume 35 (Paperback)
I know that there has been some contention to the fact that Tokyopop is no longer publishing this series. However, Del Ray manga has picked it up and will start by publishing SDK 35 & 36 in an omnibus at the end of November 2009. They will then finish up by publishing the remainder of the series. I was initially frustrated at the uncertainty of future plans, but now that a new publisher has picked up the rights I don't feel quite as cheated having already purchased the previous 34 volumes.
Also, I'm not certain why Amazon is still listing that it is available, when it obviously is not. As it is I'm anxious to have the final few volumes of the series. While the seemingly infinite series of battles that all seem to be life and death becomes tiresome after a while, I nevertheless enjoy the series and am eagerly awaiting the conclusion. |
