This review is from: Samurai Pizza Cats - Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (Japanese Import Famicom Video Game) (Video Game)
This game is fun!!
When you turn the game on, you see a really well drawn anime cut scene but with NES graphics which look great! It's a simple platformer where you can choose between 3 main cats, each with their own weapon or power. Along that character, you gave 4 additional characters you get to get you through the game. The stages are all unique and progressively get more challenging as the game goes by. Sometimes you need the flying cat, sometimes you need the digging cat, but I usually use the cat with the sword. You have a stage selection screen by choosing various places in the city so you can play the levels in any order. All the stages have bosses at the end which are pretty cool. After beating the levels, sometimes you see cutscenes depending on the stage. The game is fairly colorful which for a regular Nintendo is great! The game isn't too difficult, but difficult enough to be a challenge and making you want to play it again and again. If you have a Famicom or an NES converter chip to play Famicom games on your Nintendo, I highly recommend getting this game.
