5.0 out of 5 stars Great take on Sudoku
First of all let me say that I am a HUGE samurai sudoku fan. I was thrilled when I saw this game for sale here. I have played around with it and gotta say that the interface is really nice. The numbers are formatted so they are on the left side of the Kindle so you can keep your fingers there as well as using your other hand for the 5 way controller, I like this aspect...

3.0 out of 5 stars Has its ups and downs
I am in my mid-fifties and can easily read the clues given and the cell solutions I enter. But as far as reading the candidates, forget it. Way too much of a strain. The candidates also are not placed in position [example, most programmers place candidate 5 in the second row, center position]. Djape does not do this, if 5 is the lowest numerical candidate, it is placed...

First of all let me say that I am a HUGE samurai sudoku fan. I was thrilled when I saw this game for sale here. I have played around with it and gotta say that the interface is really nice. The numbers are formatted so they are on the left side of the Kindle so you can keep your fingers there as well as using your other hand for the 5 way controller, I like this aspect of it. I also like that the numbers you input are slightly smaller than the ones that are programmed into the game, you can keep a better track of what you put in so if you mess up you know which numbers are yours.

As far as the difficulty of the games, there are 5 levels ranging from easy to IQ. I generally skip over the easy to middling ones and tend to go for the harder, more challenging games but there is enough variety for all levels of players. The only downside to this game, it takes away from my reading time!

All in all a really great game and I hope that the developer adds another pack to this one with additional puzzles and more challenging ones for people like me who love a challenge.

The candidates also are not placed in position [example, most programmers place candidate 5 in the second row, center position]. Djape does not do this, if 5 is the lowest numerical candidate, it is placed top row, far left. I have given this review 3 stars because as long as you don't need to list candidates the program is fine. You can toggle off the legend and the puzzle will fill the screen.
