I have used this style of gambrel for over 15 years. We used to buy them at Academy. Being a wildlife biologist, I have used these gambrels on over 1500 processings. It widens the gap to ease access much better than other styles. From 30 to 800 pound harvests of many different types of game. I bought 8 of them in '93, and they lasted until I left that ranch in '08.
