Nice map, but...no trail milage,

I'd like to have given this map a better rating. It's a very nice map except for one thing - it doesn't give mileage on trail segments. And of course it doesn't give mileage for whole trails either. This is an important drawback, especially because this is DESERT country. Especially in the summer, water may be scarce or non-existent along the trail. You NEED to know how long that trail is, to judge whether or not you can make it in the time you have, with the WATER you are carrying. As good as it may be in every other respect, this one issue is enough to prevent me from recommending it for a long hike in this part of the country.
