This review is from: De San Juan a Ponce En El Tren/ from San Juan to Ponce on the Train (Paperback)
Excellent photos, an eye for detail. Truly a time capsule of an era gone by. If you are from (or have been to) PR, you will be touched by the images and the faces reaching at you from the past, and if like me, a child in the 60's, you will remember some of the places as they were back in the time of "Pacheco".

My Dad was from Dorado, living in town at the time of the images (but alas, was not in them), but I am taking this to my aunt, see if she knows anyone.

If you want to replicate the experience of a narrow gage train of the era, go to Portland, ME when they are running theirs. You quickly appreciate why the train has come (and gone!).
