5.0 out of 5 stars Expanded storage for the Motorola V710
Recently I picked up the Motorola V710 (verizon) phone that is compatable with this memory card. The Transflash card used to be called T-Flash and was for some reason renamed. In the package an included transflash to SD memory adapter allows you to connect to a SD compatable memory reader for a PC through a USB 2.0 interface.

The first thing that struck me...

yeah well i got my transflash and all i want to do is put my previous pictures already taken onto it. So when i choose "change storage device" and choose the transflash, my screen goes back to the menu. Then once i try to go to pictures, it freezes. It also doesnt allow me to take pictures. If any of you have had this problem, [...] tell me whats up, thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expanded storage for the Motorola V710, August 20, 2004
This review is from: SanDisk 128 MB TransFlash Memory Card (Personal Computers)
Recently I picked up the Motorola V710 (verizon) phone that is compatable with this memory card. The Transflash card used to be called T-Flash and was for some reason renamed. In the package an included transflash to SD memory adapter allows you to connect to a SD compatable memory reader for a PC through a USB 2.0 interface.

The first thing that struck me as amazing is the size of the transflash memory. 120mb in a little device that I can barely keep hold of in two fingers. It tucks away neatly into the transflash memory port on the Motorola V710 unnoticed. This is one of the first phones to feature a built in 1.2 megapixel camera, mp3 player and video camera, so the need for expanded storage is a must.

I purchased a cheap SD memory reader and plugged the transflash card to the SD adapter and it immediately read as a removable storage drive on my Windows XP based computer. One problem I did have was files kept getting corrupted when I tried to read them on the phone. I fixed this by formatting the card (just like formatting a built in hard drive). Not sure if this was a problem of how the phone formatted the memory when it built all the default directories or if it was the reader or card itself. But the format fixed it with no further issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have accessory for your mobile phone!, October 20, 2004
This review is from: SanDisk 128 MB TransFlash Memory Card (Personal Computers)
I am very pleased with this memory card. I was able to transfer movies, MP3's and pictures to my Motorola v710 effortlessly. You simply drag whatever you want on the phone onto the disk on your computer! With normal quality, you can store around 40 songs on your phone. Just make sure you have a memory card adapter that can read SD memory cards.

NOTE FOR MAC USERS: If you are using a computer with Mac OS X to transfer files be warned, the computer will create an invisible file in the memory card named ".DS_STORE" that, if not erased, will crash your phone. No permanent damage will be done, but you will be unable to access anything you put on your card. To delete the file, find a program that can see invisible files.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have!, September 9, 2004

I bought the SanDisk 128MB TransFlash because the storage space on my cool, new Motorola V710 from Verizon is sorta skimpy (...just 10MB). Now I have no problems storing all my photos, video clips, and MP3s. The TransFlash is really, really tiny. According to SanDisk, it's not meant to be handled regularly because the fairly soft casing is prone to damage if handled roughly. Remember to format the TransFlash first before using. Have fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Card, September 20, 2005
This review is from: SanDisk 128 MB TransFlash Memory Card (Personal Computers)
I recently bought a Motorola V710 and found that Verizon Wireless has blocked file transfer function through bluetooth as they want customers to use their 10 cents a message email service. So the only option was to move the pics to a transflash card and then to the comp. This card works great. I love SanDisk.

Great price but do not expect to put alot of music ont that 128 mb. The whole deal about changing your musc files into ring tones is not the card's fault. Do some research and you will get it to work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still confused, May 2, 2006
This review is from: SanDisk 128 MB TransFlash Memory Card (Personal Computers)
The card seems to be an inexpensive way to store music files to my new motorola E815 phone(also my first mobile phone ever!) This is very convenient for first time users getting the hang of using the new technology. I am still having a problem, though, viewing the audio files on my phone. Being not very technology advanced, I am not sure how to go about solving this problem. I have been to countless Verizon stores and nobody seems to understand the problem.I have also read the other reviews, and although I was glad to know I am not the only person having this problem, I didn't quite understand the solutions given. If anyone is capable of helping, please email me at kellihaffner@yahoo.com. Thank you and good luck to everyone with this phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, September 21, 2005

It is a shame we never have standards, but at least this works well. I am using it with my Motorola E815 cell phone. It is fun carrying my mp3 music with me on my phone rather than having to have a separate player.
