5.0 out of 5 stars Professional cards! best ive used so far!, February 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SanDisk 4 GB Extreme IV Compact Flash Memory Card - Pack of 3 (Personal Computers)
im a professional wedding photographer who shoots only digital. Been shooting digital since they started making "pro" digital cameras. I shoot average 6 weddings a week (used to shoot 5 a day!) and have shot over 10k+ weddings. I easily shoot over 100k pictures a year when its busy so i need memory cards i can trust!

The only cards i trust are SanDisks. Ive tried other brands but in the long run, ive had less problems with SanDisk then the other brands. The ones i use last forever and only get "dumped" when i buy bigger cards.
As the cameras got more mega pixel, my cards have to get bigger to hold all the data. went from 500mb, to the 1 gig cards, 2 gig cards and now 4 gigs. As the cards go bigger, im always worried if the card "crashes", ill lose too many pictures so i try to use only 2 gig cards so if it fails, i wont lose the whole wedding! But, i saw these on sale so had to buy it.

they are way faster when u are moving the data from card to computer and any time saving helps alot!! they do hold a ton of pictures too. when i put in my camera, it shows i can shoot 1,000 + pictures!! No way id shoot that many but nice to have! The cards also come with lifetime warranty so thats nice to have too!

Now, word of caution! i bought these on Amazon and they came in retail package with serial numbers and every thing. But, when i was testing them (I always test new equipment before i put to use), one of the cards didnt work. guessed i got a zonk so no problem, i went to sanDisks website to have it repaired. U just put in the card info and they will email u back on how to send it for repair. Well, when i got the email, it said the serial number on the card doesnt match with a genuine Extreme IV card!! they were fake!

but the seller refunded my money once i contacted them. So, if u buy any memory cards off any webpage, make sure to check out if they are real. all real cards have the serial number stamped on the bottom of the cards. No number, its fake. But the ones i bought had the serial number and only way i could tell if was real was to contact Sandisk.

My review is for a genuine Sandisk Extreme IV 4gb card. i bought 2 more off different web site and so far, they are the best cards i own!! well worth buying if u need to shoot a lot of pictures!!
