Got one for each of the kids. They were sold when they saw all the same capabilities of the ipod, plus the feature of being able to listen to FM radio and RECORD SONGS FROM IT. Battery life is good, and not being tied to itunes is a plus. Simple interface to the computer, and you can use Windows Media Player to do everything if you wish. Pretty seamless. The kids are very happy... great features at a much better price than ipod.

Purchased a $300 16gb IPOD Touch. Never opened it due to buyers remorse. Why was I spending $300 on something that I just wanted to play music. Returned it and paid ~$70 for a 4gb fuze with additional 2gb memory. Does everything I expected AND provides FM radio. Very pleased with the radio aspect...I tire of my music selection. Too bad no AM or HD radio. Found that the Radio setting should be set at World/Global in order to tune in the stations. Couple of user functions could be better but I'm NOT complaining. Can set up a number of user playlists. My wife & kids love this (better than all the CDs being carted around). Due to the price..I'm seriously considering getting one or two more so I don't have to "share". But my next purchase will be to get one of the plastic protector guards. This is a worthwhile purchase!

First of all, I wanted to get a Sandisk Sansa Clip 4 GB MP3 Player (Black) por its excellent sound, but then, I've learned on several forums that both the "Clip" and the "Fuze" have the same sound quality I decided for the latter because of memory expansion.
I have to say that this is one of my best purchases I've ever made from Amazon. The quality of this item including its sound quality and ease of use make it THE alternative to the sadly famous Ipod Nano. It has all the features plus Radio, voice recording AND memory expansion!

The Sanza Fuze does everything well. Sound is clear; battery lasts forever; navigation is intuitive, etc. My wife and I have put it through the daily grind, and it still works as well as the first day. Last year I bought an Olympus digital voice recorder for $40. Guess what, this Sanza's voice recorder quality compares favorably to that product. I wish I hadn't spent money on that Olympus, granted the Olympus obviously offers more voice recording functions. I can also put photos of my daughter on the Sanza, for when I'm traveling on the road. Of course, the photos are just pocket size, but that's sufficient. It's great that it is so multi-functional.

I just got this product to listen to music while I sleep. Until now I have been using a CD player. So far I really like the MP3. I was worried that it would be difficult to use due to it's size, but I've found it easy to use and the sound quality to be great. I wish it had a few more options, but I guess for the price I can't expect too many options.

This is the 3rd Sansa Fuse that I purchased for my kids. Plenty of space for music, movies and self recordings with options of expanding memory for more. This is by far a much better solution to the IPOD for those of you who have a budget and are looking for a good quality mp3. You can also use it to record voices (works great for my teenager's lectures at school) and can tune in your favorite radio stations. The kids don't really use them much for the video, not really practical as we save that for the TV. Much easier and less hassle than an IPOD when it comes to putting music on it. Best device you can buy for the money if you're only interested in listening to music.

The player is sturdy, I have owned two of these before, one got lost at a party, the other survived 3 trips through the washer before I stepped on it taking off my pants and cracked the screen. The wheel is responsive, the battery life is awesome, I work 10 hour shifts and I never have a dead battery before I get home. it plays tons of formats, and the screen is easy to see in the sunlight. sound quality is pretty awesome, and there's an equalizer.

the bundle is awesome! the reader that's included is a little flash drive that has slot to insert mini sd cards into. it's really not necessarily needed, since when you put the card into the Sansa you can load music on it from there, however I use it to load music and videos onto the mini sd card I have on my phone, since it's old and I don't have a usb chord for it.

After having an iPod that broke after about a year of moderate use, I decided to try another brand MP3 player. I went for the Sansa Fuze because it was highly reviewed, reasonably priced, had a radio and an expansion slot to add more memory. I have been using this MP3 player for about a year and do not have any complaints. There are features that I have never used like the voice recorder and video playback. Overall this unit rocks!

PROS:
* Small and rich in features
* Good sound quality
* Good value for the price

CONS:
* Sansa video converter is a joke. The Fuze will only take a very very specific video format. The converter software simply fail to convert videos to that format. On two other computers the software failed to identify the Fuze. I spend days trying to find ways to convert my videos to work on the Fuze.
* When rotating control gets dust behind it, it is difficult to rotate it. I need to use two fingers to manage to move it. I did not find a way to clean it.

I bought this for a friend several months ago,the price is cheap compare with IPod, works great.Very satisified.
