SanDisk's MultiMediaCard is designed to provide maximum performance for today's digital devices. The card weighs less than 2 grams and is the size of a postage stamp. The small size of the MultiMediaCard grants manufacturers of digital devices the ability to continuously design ultra-small, portable devices.

The MultiMediaCard has been designed into products that include digital music players, digital camcorders, cellular phones, and GPS units. The SanDisk MultiMediaCard offers high storage capacity (64 MB) and nonvolatile (solid state) storage. It has no moving parts, so the card is not a battery drain. Also, data is not lost when power is turned off.

The card's operating shock rating is 2,000 G, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor. The card is unfazed by drastic weather conditions, ranging from blistering heat to freezing cold, and is compatible with all digital music players, digital camcorders, handheld PCs, mobile phones, and other devices that feature a MultiMediaCard slot. Compatible brands include Aiwa, Audiovox, Canon, I-Jam, JVC, LG Electronics, Nokia, Panasonic, Sanyo, Sharp, and Thompson.

I use this card in my digital camera, and it works perfectly. Stores still images and video files. It would be nice to have more storage, but those chips cost more.
