Also, I like the plastic case that comes with this card over the little sleeve that the sony card came with. The first day I had this card, I received the card at work. I put the card and the case in my pocket, then of course forgot it was in there.

Pants got washed over the weekend. I realized this after the pants were in the dryer, and a cold chill came over me remembering the card was in the pants!

After being washed and in the dryer, I though for sure it was toast. The card had a small water bubble i could see through the yellow casing. Popped it in my psp. It formatted fine. Then i copied my movie, which like I stated earlier, is still twice as fast as Sony's overpriced card.

I give this card TWO SUDS up.........

Got this to replace the too-small 32 MB pack-in card with the PSP. Works great, comes in a little clear hardcase, seems to be faster than Sony's. Fits about 3 hours of converted DVD video as well as about 100 photos, all game saves, and 10-20 MP3s. Has made my PSP better than a portable DVD player (battery life is better playing from a MemStick than from UMD). Save up for this to make your PSP into a media powerhouse.

5.0 out of 5 stars 100% Amazing Porduct, September 18, 2005
The 1GB card is very reasonably priced definitely, and worth every cent. Whether you want all your music, game expansions, mods, videos, converted DVD's, pictures and all your game save this is for you!

But, the card has one downside to it, it is advertied as 1GB, which is 1000MB, but industry works each megabyte as 1000kilobytes when it is actually 1024, causing a signifigantly lower amount of memory than you payed for. Still, the difference of around 60Megabytes doesnt make much difference at all considering you are left with 940MB then. Of course, this goes for all memory cards not just the one gig, and not just ProDuo.

In terms of what you can fit, from my own experience, you can get around 25 cartoons on it, (simpsons, futurama, hellsing etc) in DVD quality, if you use the new AVC video format this increases without losing any quality. On a lower quality setting you should fit many more.

Musicwise ;
- 10MB songs: 94
- 6MB songs: 156
- 5MB songs: 188
- 3MB songs: 313
This is around 1101minutes of song.

This product is an amazing investment for any PSP gamer looking to utilise fully the PSP's capabilities and optimize their gaming experience.

I hope my review is of help to you, Cilein

I am very impressed with this little card. I recently purchased a Sony PSP and the 32mb card that came with it really disappointed me. I went online to check my options and stumbled upon this little bad-boy. I ordered in hopes of satisfaction and this product delivered. I have now stored a bunch of MP3's that I like, a bunch of pictures and I still have 700 mb to spare. If I haven't gotten my point across, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little more out of their PSP and I highly recommend buying from Tiger-Direct. They delivered a perfectly good product faster than expected. Booya! I need more PSP batteries.

What can I say, it works and it's yellow. Which means when you drop the tiny thing in the couch cushions you can have a chance of finding it! So the color is actually practical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Family Guy on the go., March 15, 2005
When PSP comes out, you can put this Memory card in and store a ton of video, music and photos. Not to mention game saves and downloadable content. It's awesome to have family guy or kill bill on the go but its not for the people who suck at technology. You have to rip the shows off DVDs and then convert it to mp4 which is a process that many are probably unable to do. If you read a tutorial it's pretty easy but timeconsuming and tedious. If you have the diligence to convert the videos, it's awesome to watch shows in the car on the beautiful PSP screen.

This is an awesome memory stick and works great with the Sony PSP. I can put about 3 movies and 30 songs on there with about 100MB still free. I really recommend this for its performance and value.

Great product! Offers a lot of flexibility for the PSP owner. Store video, music, digital pics and game saves all on one memory card. Don't short change yourself on memory space...this is reasonably priced and you'll be glad you have so much room later!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it if you use it to store data other than game saves., January 11, 2006

I bought this because I was purposely planning on using my PSP as a video/MP3 player as well as the original intended purpose of playing video games. :)

I've got six 1 hour television programs, a 2 hour movie I copied from my DVR and ran through compressors to convert to MP4 format, 4 or 5 pictures, and 15 mp3's. Tons of room on the chip, enough to where I'm considering buying a 2nd one to copy some TV shows onto for a car trip to Arizona.

The prices on them are really reasonable, and are only a few bucks more than the 512MB ones.

ANd if you're going to use the PSP for MP3 or video, the 32MB chip that comes with the Value Pack just doesn't cut it. Spend the extra money on the 1GB chip; you'll be immensely glad you did.
