I bought this memory (from XP Passport) for use with my Sony Ericsson w580i phone and it works beautifully.

Since I recived this, which by the way was sooner than expected and just as advertised, I had an experience that would make any cringe. It went though the washer and it still worked perfectly. That is the reason I love SanDisk, a quality product. Everything that I had originally saved on it was complete, uncorrupted and fully accessible.

I'm using this without any problems in my W580i from AT&T. Sony's website lists the maximum card capacity as 2GB in one place and 4GB in another, but I suspect that these values may just have come from what cards were available on the market at the time of writing.

item arrived in about 6 days and i couldnt be happier. works great with my sony ericsson W580i..now my phone has more storage space than my mp3 player.

I bought this card to use with my P1i and it works great, does not affect battery life or speed. You can load tons of apps/Music/movies in 3GP and MP4, both work fine once converted. Great card

Sure, it's no 32GB iPod touch, but my Sony K550i Phone now has 1000+ songs on it, plus some episodes of Entourage, plus photos with room for 300+ more. Recognized and formatted immediately by the phone, worked fine in my M2 USB reader with my Mac. Transferring files is still slow, as the M2/USB interface seems to max out at 2MB per second, and on the Mac, you can't copy more than 32 files at a time (due to the FAT16 format of the card having a conflict with OS X Finder), but once I put the 1000 songs on, that's not a big deal.

Some card readers will not be able to recognize the full 8GB (the one in my new Gateway laptop, for instance, sees the card as 4GB). This is not a problem if you use the card in the phone while copying files, as most people will, just be advised that removing the card and inserting it into a card reader may not see the full capacity depending on the card reader.

I ordered this card to use with my Sony Ericsson W580i so I could use it as an 8GB mp3 player (Walkman feature). The order came in a little later than I expected due to Hurrican Ike (I live in Houston), but it was more or less timely. The card was exactly as described, 8GB with a MMS Pro adapter, and also included a glass-clear case. The phone read the card immediately. The transfer speed from my computer to the card was around 430kbps. I have yet to put my whole WMP library on it.

I bought this 8GB card for my Sony Ericsson W760 cell phone. I have loaded tons of music videos and MP3 songs on it. So far it works great.

bought mine on amazon through progressive tech. paid 32.95 plus $6.95 express shipping. ordered it on Nov. 20th, got it on the 24th. Having never bought anything online before I didn't know what to expect as far as delays on shipping. for 4.95 I could have gotten regular shipping with average 2, to 3 week window. or for 2 dollars more got express with a 1 to 2 week window. So you can imaging my delight when i received my card in less than half that time, shipping from NY to Fla. through USPS First Class. I'm backing up my 2gb card now so I can tranfer it onto my 8gb card. I'm using it in my Sony Ericsson W580i. Now I have an 8gb Phone/Player with stereo blutooth headphones that rivals my IPod. Great buying experience. Thanks Amazon and Progressive Tech.
