5.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper alternative to Sony.
After using regular SanDisk Memory Stick Pro, I indeed noticed read/write speed improvement: about twice faster, I would say. SanDisk uses same Sony memory chips as Sony does, they just package them on their own factory, so theoretically you are getting same product with different labels. So why pay extra for "brand", if you can get same product with lifetime...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not compatible with my camera or not working good
According with the information of compatibility with cameras, this memorystick was compatible with the sony dcs-s75.

When I insert the memorystick, it generates an error: c:13:01. I try with all the recomendations that i find to solve the problem, but i could not figure it out. According to the information on the web, this happens when the memory is not...

So why pay extra for "brand", if you can get same product with lifetime warranty anyway?
If you are considering this card for your digital camera, do not set your expectations too high: though you are gonna notice that Ultra-II' write speed doubled over regular cards, the real bottleneck is your camera's shutter lag and size of the camera's internal buffer (in burst mode). In auto-focus mode, the lag on my Sony DSC-717 is still over a second - I'd say about 20% improvement. If you want to shoot faster, learn to use manual focus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore Gene's Review, December 8, 2005
This review is from: SanDisk SDMSPH-1024-A10 1GB Ultra II MemoryStickPro (Retail Package) (Personal Computers)
Gene, when you bought this high speed memory stick pro, did you even bother to check and see if it is compatible with your camera? No you did not. Go to [...] and find the memory stick pro compatibility tool for your Sony camera BEFORE you waste your money on something that will NEVER work with your camera no matter how many times you try it.

That being said, this memory stick is a perfectly acceptable alternative to a higher-priced Sony memory stick. It's faster than a regular Sony memory stick pro and is half the price of a high speed Sony memory stick pro.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great price, November 30, 2007

I wasn't sure that this memory card would work in my Sony Cybershot because it's a few years old. But since the price was great and better than most I've seen, I couldn't resist (especially since my Sony Vaio can take these memory cards, too). It all worked out because the card works perfectly in my camera!

I look for information in the scandisk website, and I couldn't find if there exist any compability with my camera. Obviously, I can not recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Its good when things work right..., May 6, 2007
This review is from: SanDisk SDMSPH-1024-A10 1GB Ultra II MemoryStickPro (Retail Package) (Personal Computers)
I think we are at the point with this sort of product that we can expect it will work properly, and it did. What more can be said than it works as expected, no flaws, no malfunctions.

If you are looking for a fast memory card, look no further. I bought this card for my new Sony H1 and I've been totally impressed by its speed and reliability. It's been working flawlessly from day one. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1GB Ultra II, January 16, 2006
This review is from: SanDisk SDMSPH-1024-A10 1GB Ultra II MemoryStickPro (Retail Package) (Personal Computers)
Great product !! However, if you use a SanDisk 8 slot USB reader, this strip can't be read. Further, it knocks the reader off the air. BUT...if you call SanDisk (number on their web page), they'll send you a new reader free including free FedEx shipping. The 1G stick uses different clocking and just creams the reader. SanDisk was vey helpful and a free reader was a class act. Well done, SanDisk. Actions like that will bring me back for more products.

1.0 out of 5 stars Won't work, July 23, 2005

I bought this for my Sony DSC-F707 and what a disappointment!

No matter what I do the camera will not recognize this stick!
Tried everything with the same results.

Reading the reviews (on Amazon) on the new blue pro SanDisk sticks,
I'd say the company is having some probs in the way the newer sticks
fit in and are read by a camera. Seems hit or miss. Not good.
