Pros:

This works great in my Canon 550D/T2i DSLR camera. I shoot all my pictures in RAW + Jpeg mode and this little guy keeps up without breaking a sweat.

It's fast enough to record 1080p videos (at 330MB per minute). The 550D user's manual recommends at least Class 6 memory to record 1080p video smoothly. I've been using this Class 4 memory card for that purpose for over a week now and I have yet to see a stutter on my videos or the camera buffer filling up.

64GB is a lot of space. I don't have to worry about filling the card up and having to swap cards when I'm taking pictures. I highly recommend this to all Canon 550D users.

Con:

Only a few devices support SDXC as of this moment so make sure your device supports it before you make your purchase.

Great card and does what it is supposed to do. Caution: If you have an IMac, you will not be able to import into IMac. This is a known problem and you will see it mentioned in the blogs. We have not found a work around yet. You can see the images on your IMac monitor.SanDisk 64GB Ultra Secure Digital High Capacity, SDXC, Memory Card, 15MB/Sec Read/Write Speed

I bought this Scan Disk primarily for the large storage space for video recording for my Canon Rebel T2i. I had read other reviews and a few said they had no issues with capturing HD video even though it was a Class 4 and 15mb/s instead of a Class 10 and 30mb/s Scan Disk. Well on my trip in California I tried recording in full 1080p and the disk could not keep up with the recording. So I would advise that if you want to use it for recording video make sure that you purchase a Class 10 30mb/s Scan Disk at least for the Canon T2i.

I bought this as a backup for (1) all my family photos, memoirs, electronic diaries, genealogical information, etc.(35 GB), (2) Power Point presentations I've developed for public talks (1 GB), and (3) electronic texts of all sorts (6 GB) - not to use in a camera. I keep it in its little plastic case in a small flash-drive pouch on my key chain so it's always with me and won't be lost in a house fire, flood, tornado, or whatever. I use Syncback to keep it up to date. It's fast and convenient and light and I love it.

Great memory. Used with my Canon T2I. 400 high res images and video barely made a dent in the storage. Great response to continuous shooting.

In memory cards you can only pick two of: speed, price, size.
This one is price and size ... pretty good deal for 64gig card.
Actual speed of class 4 card isn't really 15meg a sec, I clocked an average of 6.5meg/s when filling the entire card with movies ... still, it's pretty good for class 4 card. That's enough most cameras out there and for most HD video, unless you're doing 1080p60, but if you have a device that does that might as well get a smaller class 10 card (class 10 actually tops out at about 14 meg/s)
So in all, massive size on a budget ...
I like it, no regrets.

I just got this card from Amazon and I've been testing it out for a week now in my Canon T2i DSLR camera and it's performing well. I was a little concerned about it keeping up in continuous shooting mode and 1080p HD video just because it's considered a class 4 card but the SDXC format is the newest and fastest format available and this card is lightening fast. If you have a new model DSLR camera or an HD video camera that accepts the SDXC format card then I highly recommend it. But make sure you have a product that will accept this card or it won't work. 64 gig is a lot of space! My camera shows that I can take about 8000 pictures with it or over 8 hours of 1080p HD video. What more would you ever need?? Don't hesitate, buy this card while the price is still amazingly low!

This card arrived Saturday October 8, one week after ordering it with free shipping and when I put it in my old laptop with Windows XP Professional 32 bits I received a message asking if I wanted to format it. Naturally, I clicked yes and started transferring my 32 gigs from the old AData CF (for which I wrote a review in Amazon) that I've been using for years in my HP 2415 PDA, hoping to add an extra 32 gigs of films in my new card.

But after the system took over fifteen hours (!) to transfer my 32 gigs, I saw a message saying that the new card was full. I noticed only then that my laptop had formatted it to 27.5 gigs. So I tried to format it again but the system ONLY gave me the option to format it in 27.5 gigs instead of 64!

I tried to put it in my new Canon SX IS 20 that I bought a year ago but it did not recognize it.

After I requested an RMA, I had the idea to try it in my brand new laptop which came with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit a couple of weeks earlier and it did format it in 64 Gb.

Then I started transferring 64 gigs of music, pictures and movies at a rate of between 4 MB/s (from the 32 Gb AData CF in a Vivitar 50 in 1 card reader to the new SD housed in the laptop card reader) and 6 MB/s (from a 1 Tb Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex external USB drive to the SD still placed directly in the laptop). Either way, this was much slower than the 30 MB/s average when transferring directly from the Seagate to the laptop C drive.

As soon as the new SD card was full, I tried to put it in my HP 2415 PDA with an adapter that I bought from Amazon which reads SD cards, since my PDA has SD + CF spaces but refuses to read SD cards over 2 gigs.
