Bang for your Buck
First day using it, right out of the package I hooked it up to my computer and had songs on it within minutes. For the price of this item these days, you cant go wrong. Ive read numerous bad reviews on this item and I cant tell you how picky those people are. For under $30.00 bucks you get a simple,quick mp3 player AND FM radio...which i am listening to...

Software wouldn't load
I got this as a gift for someone who wanted an MP3 player that took batteries rather than recharged though the USB port. We tried loading the software that came with the MP3 player on two different computers, One running WinXP Home and SP2 and one running XP Pro with service pack 3. For under $30.00 bucks you get a simple,quick mp3 player AND FM radio...which i am listening to right now with considerably good reception. The music playback is good, I mean...I didn't spend a couple hundred bucks here so I can only expect it to just play music, and it does it well. Also went for a run/hike today, fits comfortably in your pocket, It is not heavy at all , earphones fit well and snug. Basically...You should buy this, its worth the buckage.

I got this as a gift for someone who wanted an MP3 player that took batteries rather than recharged though the USB port.
We tried loading the software that came with the MP3 player on two different computers, One running WinXP Home and SP2 and one running XP Pro with service pack 3. The only message that the software gave me was that I need to update my version on Net Framework 3, and sent me to a site on Microsoft to upgrade. Microsoft's website would not upgrade Net Framework as it said I had the latest version. Manufacturer's website was no help. Several Posts in Forum that Others could not install the software, but there was no solutions posted. We were able to plug it in to USB and drag and drop songs like it was an USB drive, but that lost us the other functuality (?) of the software. |
