This SanDisk slot radio is amazing! I went on a cruise and enjoyed Motown music all week w/o paying a dollar a song. True, not all the songs were for me but where can you hear 500 songs for the small price I paid? Wish I could hear a song over again w/o going thru the whole list(can't do it) but the radio is just perfect otherwise. Clear sound, great volume control and small in size makes it very portable. Negatives: on/off is touchy. Commercial in-between music sets. Changing tiny music discs a fine art.

We just received these and already I love it! The children love it and it keeps them happy and rockin in the car and waiting on line.
It is very easy for them to operate and they really enjoy having their own 'player'. I wish I had known about these sooner.

I have never owned an MP3 Player, and thought that this would be a good starter one. The price was right, and it comes with a nice collection of music. I reaaly love it, the slot cards are a good option for me since I have dial-up connection and downloading songs is impossible. I highly recommend this item.

I purchased this slot radio knowing exactly what I was getting. This is a bare bones demo model probably given out as a promo at a radio station.After using my own headset (buds don't fit in my small ears) I was very pleased at the sound quality. I wore this the whole time I did the tedious chore of cleaning the house. I really have to say the radio made the time go faster. I immediately looked up a more advanced Sansa player which plays cards, has memory to download your own music & an FM radio (this one does not have either , only uses card)If I had not bought the one on amazon first, I would not have known what a great product is out there. Much more affordable then other products of this design. If you are curious before you buy, this product is a no brainer.

I picked this up for my 8 year old daughter because I liked the idea of not having to download songs to her iPod all the time. This seemed like a good idea, something she can take on the go without having to worry too much if it gets broken. She LOVES it! It only takes one battery and is very easy to use. The songs that come with this purchase are all radio friendly. It's very small and the earphones are good quality. I am very happy with this purchase. It was cheap (on sale), easy to use for an 8 year old and hours of music that comes with it for free. You can also buy additional music cards, but I'll let her memorize these 500 free songs first. Rockin' gift for a rockin' 8 year old girl who knows how to dance like a monkey and this thing doesn't get in her way! 5 stars all the way.

I ordered one of these mostly for the inexpensive slotradio player (wanted to use the player in the car with a 80s 90s SlotRadio card I ordered). I was amazed at the solid quality of the player and the easy to use design. Player feels solid, not cheap like I expected. I also was impressed with the SlotRadio card included with the player (labeled 102.7 KissFM). I liked it so much I ordered 2 more (one for each of my daughters ages 14 and 19). This is a very nice player and well worth the money. Sound quality is also excellent and the controls are simple to use.

I took the card out of this radio and used it in a different MP3 player. Worked great and most songs are good just skip the ones you don't like. I took it on a cruise and had a great time listening to the varity!

This player is simple to use and seems solidly made. You can play music on your own micro sd card, and I like that it plays 10+ hours on a regular AAA battery. The included 500+ songs is a sweet bonus.

This was fast and easy. It comes WITH a AAA battery, so everything you need is in the package. It comes with the best earbud headphones I have ever used (the same ones that came with my Sansa Fuze player). I also bought her Kidz Gear Wired Headphones For Kids so her mom got to have the earbuds. The card that comes with it seems to be mostly poppish 'club' music from the last 10 years or so - Backstreet Boys, Avril Levine, Hip Hop - I'm pretty sure it's mostly post-90s, and I don't think I've run into any alternative or rock.

The case opens by sliding the outside off for battery replacement, so is not at all obvious to a small child, provided you never open it in front of said child. A child is also very unlikely to figure out the sd card slot without a strong hint, IMO.

I plan to create her an SD card of other music as well, but this was a great way to have music already on the player when I gave it to her, and it's nice and simple for her to operate (play/pause, skip, change playlist). The headphones alone are worth the price of the player.

I usually use my Android Phone or a Sansa Clip+, but I've had my MP3 players die on trips... and I like to sleep to music. I picked this up as a disposable player to keep in my toiletries bag -- fully intending to toss the stock music KISSFM SD and insert my own 1Gb MicroSD with some nature music. Imagine my surprise when I found that the mix is really good. This is really decent, main-stream pop. I may opt to give this to my wife instead... (as she really likes all of these songs). I wouldn't hesitate to give this to a child (7+) or technically inept relative. And, it's great for sleep music... especially since you can just toss in a new battery every couple of days.
