Book Description

June 2003
The Sanctity of Human Blood is a very readable summary of current information about vaccines which differs from the popular view. O'Shea goes through the history of vaccines, the ingredients, the culture media and manufacture, the economic and political forces behind vaccines, Gulf War Syndrome, and the side effects of vaccines.

The book also thoroughly references current data on new vaccines like AIDS, smallpox, and anthrax. Exemption laws and exemption forms, the autism epidemic and Congressional hearings, mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, the role of the FDA, the difference between natural and artificial immunity -- all these and more are explained in a clear, easy to grasp fashion.

The book goes through the individual vaccines that are currently on the Mandated Schedule and examines the history and effectiveness of each.

There is nothing especially New Age about The Sanctity of Human Blood -- this author's sources are mainstream medicine, science and law. Every fact is sourced in the 235 references at the end of the book.

The value of the book is that all these current sources have been drawn together to tell a very shocking yet completely verifiable story about what may prove to be the most important health issue of our time. The book is very easy to read and understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Remarkable job of explaining "the other side of the coin", January 12, 2004

This review is from: The Sanctity of Human Blood: Vaccination Is Not Immunization, Seventh Edition (Paperback)
The use of references in the book are excellent, and I especially appreciate the references mentioned throughout the book after many important points. I also think Dr.O'Shea did an excellent job of placing certain terms or important points in bold. The discussions on the difference between Vaccination vs. Immunization, Natural vs. Artificial Immunity, and the decline in diseases prior to vaccines also make very good and important points. If anyone has any doubts as to whether or not the government is putting their health and well-being first, just read this book and you will find the answer when he explains the money and political sides of vaccination. And remember, VACCINATION is the correct term, NOT IMMUNIZATION.

At first blush, this book seems a little alarmist. However, if you have any inkling of the influence of megacorporations, you'll realize that all of this is more than plausible. You need to read many books and talk to many people before you make vaccination decisions. You also have to look at everything you are doing to keep your baby healthy. For instance, if you are bottle feeding a baby who spends 10 hours a day in a crowded day care center, your approach must be different than for a breastfed baby who gets to stay at home.

I own this wonderful book proudly! This book is so full of history and facts of childhood illnesses, that it will leave you wondering why we trust so easily. A must have for anyone who is or is not thinking about the vaccines given to their children.
I love this book and CAN NOT say enough good things about it!
