Buyer Beware!,
By
This review is from: Sandi Patti Anthology (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) (Paperback)
This is a large anthology of all those great Sandi Patti songs from her prime. For some people this book will be terrific, but buyer beware. These are NOT the same keys as Sandi sang them in on her old CDs. Every song has been lowered. Perhaps these are the keys she sings them in now, since her voice definitely has dropped over the years. So if you are a tenor or soprano who sings along with the CDs, these versions may not fit your voice at all. Mezzos and baritones rejoice. You can finally sing her greatest hits. I'm a tenor and this book is basically worthless to me. If you are going to change the keys, you need to tell people in the description of the book!

This review is from: Sandi Patti Anthology (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) (Paperback)
This Sandi Patty Anthology has most if not all of her hits, but they are not exactly in the same arrangements as how Sandi Patty recorded them. Also, if you are a soprano, as myself, the arrangements are in a lower key,(BEWARE) NOT in the original key, as she sang them. However, any great pianist will be able to transpose, which is what happened in my case. Hence, if you are a mezzo or alto, this is perfect for your range. I still love the Anthology.
