When this project first came out in 1989, I was already in high school. But that hasn't stopped me from enjoying it for one minute. Slightly different from the standard kid's project of the day, it features Sandi singing with kids as her back-up singers and dialogue on only a couple of songs. No running story or anything like that. But the songs are great.

There seem to be two main focuses of this CD. The first, as suggested by the title, is friendship. The second is how special we are to God. The style is classic Sandi Patty/adult contemporary from the late 80's, but it holds up well today.

I must make a special mention of "We're in this Thing Together," my favorite song from the CD. This duet with Gerbert (a popular kid's character of the day) is so upbeat and fun it's one song I certainly don't mind having stuck in my head for a few days. Now, if only I'd remember to rely on God more like the song talks about.

With mostly upbeat songs, it's sure to catch kid's attention, and the messages will encourage them to remember their importance to God. I enjoy it every time I pull it out; I really should do so more often.

I grew up listening to Sandi and this tape reflects all of the skill and talent that God has given her. I HIGHLY recommend this CD/tape. It won't be available forever and you will want to have it for that long! BUY IT NOW!!!

For all of you who grew up listening to this, it's definitely old school fun. All your favorite songs from when you were a kid. I bought this for my daughter, and we used the "Masterpiece" song for her baby dedication. Super sweet!

This album is fun to play in the car for my young kids. We sing together. They enjoy the melody and fun themes, I enjoy Sandi's smooth, beautiful voice and the wonderfully positive, helpful messages.

This is an great group of songs for childern. I am in college and as I child I owned this casset tape. I remeber taking trips to my grandmother's house, and my sisters and I would sing to this tape the whole way there. Just over and over! The other day I was seating in my room studying and I started singing "Friendship Company." I just kind of laughed, as it reminded me of my younger years, but it would not leave me head. I just love this set of songs. They are funny and intertaining, not just for children but for parents as well.

My now 20 year old, still to this day, have warm/happy memories of singing these songs. She is jealous of her 8 year old little sister who's having just as much fun learning thru Sandi Patti.

My sister's kids loved this tape as kids so much that my sister saved it for my kids. They love it and play it so much that the tape is just plain worn out! So, we're buying another one!

Sandi's got an incredible voice and here, she's using it to give joy to children. I LOVE all the songs! They are fun, catchy and an encouragement to both kids and adults! Buy it for your kids and listen to it yourself!

My almost-40 and almost-35 year old daughters sang these songs with me on road trips, when they were kids. We would sing at the tops of our lungs, each taking a different "voice" each time through. We wore this out on cassette and when it came out on Cd, I re-purchased it. We often reminisce about those days. Now a new generation of our family will have the fun of singing along in the car. I'm buying one for each family. A true classic collection of very singable songs.
