Customer Reviews

SanDisk for me has been a good reliable product.

This card could not be read (or formated) by multiple readers on several computers and on the rare occasion that I could read it, the content was corrupted.

Never get a speed lower than 400x because you'll regret buying one.

I bought this card from Amazon and unfortunately it was a no go from the beginning. It would not format on the camera reliably, or if it formated, the next time that I powered the camera (two cameras) it would complain that it was not properly formated. This card could not be read (or formated) by multiple readers on several computers and on the rare occasion that I could read it, the content was corrupted.

I am not sure what Amazon meant when they said "bulk package", but this came packaged in a nice box, with some bubble wrapping ... so far so good. But the card itself arrived in a very small (unsealed) manila envelope. Inside the envelope was a lose card with no information whatsoever. I wonder if this was a return from a previous customers?

I am happy that Amazon will refund my purchase - no issues from them on this front.

I own a E30 olympus camera and more than once now the camera cannot load images or gives me an error regarding the card when trying to view images. When loaded on the computer, the images look fine. after formating the card everything goes back to normal but I never know when this is gonna happen again. for the price I'm a little disappointed. I never had any issues with the other smaller (4 and 1Gb) cards I own from the same brand.

purchased two of these for use with my Canon 50D camera .I am quite happy with them, especially since I can get in excess of 2000 pictures on the memory card even with my 15m pixel camera set on its high resolution.

This is a good card. My Canon EOS 7D has speeds of 8fps and this card has no problems capturing it. The reason why it's cheaper and it comes in an envelope rather than in a sealed wrapper is because it comes from a reseller, who buys it in bulk and then sells it individually. This is a new card and don't be scared off by the fact that it doesn't appear to come in its original wrapping. Definitely worth the money.

I've been using the exact version for my canon 5d2 and it works like a beast. I can get a burst shot of 7fps without any lag or buffer. And when it comes to video shooting, I shoot HD and ever since I used this Sandisk Extreme 400x I can shoot at it's maximum duration without any cut. I'm happy with my purchase! I recommend it to HDSLR users. Never get a speed lower than 400x because you'll regret buying one.

This compact flash works fine in my camera, but it came with an offer to download rescue Pro, and that proved very difficult for me to do, seems the serial number they gave me was no longer good, so , I assume that this is old stock, but the price was right, so I will not bother to try and use the rescue pro, just try and not delete photos that I want to keep !

This particular CF card does not work with D800 even after the recommended firmware update. The problem is that after you have taken certain number of shots the camera will report "error" until you pull out this card physically. It works okay with other cameras though and now I am only using it for video capture and it causes no problem since. Still, the random "error" message would disable all camera function and was a pain at the back side at some critical moments. No recommend this card if you use Nikon D800/D800E.
