Internal speaker is great for little ones
We got this for our son when he was 3 because he loved dancing around to his own music and we wanted an inexpensive MP3 player with an internal speaker. It works well and has simple enough controls. You can't easily pick what song you want to listen to, but you can scan through songs until you find one you are in the mood for. He's been using it for two years now and...

Nice idea, product did not hold up
I purchased this for my 5-year-old daughter and while in theory it is a nice little portable MP3 player, it only would work when a brand new, non-rechargeable battery was inserted. If the battery lost power in the least, it quit working. Now it doesn't work at all even with a new battery, even though she has only used it a few times.

I keep one handy when play with two year old, wake him up or play music when he plays in the tub. Extremely user friendly. Speaker and headset quality is fine given the price.
Con: Plasticky. I can see it break in 3-6 month Battery and memory cover keep fell off. Have to keep it in place with a plastic band. I have to keep tracking it in the house. |
