I bought one of these to replace a 2gb Cruzer Titanium that I lost. I was attracted to the color, and the fact that SanDisk donates a portion of their profits to Alzheimer's research.

The only way that I can accurately describe the color is "Gamecube purple," which isn't nearly as nice a shade of violet that all the pictures show. It also feels quite flimsy, and it doesn't snap back inside the case as well as the titanium cruzers do. But the U3 technology is easy to get rid of (Google search "Remove U3"), and the flash memory is as reliable as all other SanDisk products. SanDisk always puts out great products.

If you're interested in one of these, I suggest checking it out at a Brick-and-Mortar store to see the true color. I've gotten lots of compliments on it, but I personally don't think it's as attractive as the pictures.

I needed a new flash drive, so I saw that Amazon was offering this one by Sandisk, which benefits Alzheimer's research. My grandmother currently has Alzheimer's Disease, so that was the main reason why I bought it. Little did I know that it would be the best flash drive I have ever used. Among a variety of different benefits, it lets me organize my files in the folders that are on the flash drive and, with its bright purple case, it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I would recommend this to anyone, and if I ever need another flash drive, I am going directly to this page.

I happened to come across this item by acident and to tell you the truth I wish I had thought of it myself! What a GREAT idea! As everyone knows many older adults lose their cognitive ability and go about the rest of their live which isn't long in dementia. A family menber can load text files with vital information and pictures about their parent or older love ones suffering from this dreaded disease. So by chance a older love one with this Scandisk Cruzer Flash Disk carried on their person is found in a extreme situation, authorities can help the victim better.

I like this USB flash drive has nice purple color case and I like that part of the cost of this will go to Action Against Alzheimer's. I ended up giving this flash drive to my boyfriend so he can put some of his stuff he does at the library onto it since the light on it for me had interfered w/ I'd wanted it to do for me. Be better for him than me anyway.

The flash drive has some nice little folders for storage purposes as well as a little software so any PC can recognize what it is and set you up, but is not necessary to upload no. This, I like so will my honey...

For anybody that uses the LOC machines and downloads BARD materials from there, be warned that the light fixture that's part of this USB flash drive can and will do bonkers while your listening to the book; had gone to the back once and then sometime goes to the very top...so that's why gave this to my honey as he can use this usb at the library's PCs.

I have bought all Sandisk Cruzer color flashdrives. I consider very convenient to have different colors. All my information is color coded making easy to look for the information that I need.

I bought this specifically to be used as a memory card for my new xbox 360-s system. It met all the requirements and works perfectly. Note: it only had 1.3 GB space left after formatting.

I purchased this because a portion of proceeds go to Alzheimers AND I loved the color. It's perfect for transporting files. The only negative comments: 1) it seems a little flimsy and 2) can pose some difficulty when inserting into a USB port (the open lever doesn't stay open). That's manageable, at least for now. Fast, prompt delivery!

I generally would not spend $11.49 for a "purple" 2GB USB flash drive, but felt it was for a good cause.
I have not had a problem with the plastic slide feature, hope it holds up well. It is small for portability and it was nice that I could make "folders", within the device, for ease in finding what was on it. I used it like a mini hard-drive, for a friend's song library. Songs do not take up much space, so she now has lots of songs to work with!
