I was so happy to find this adaptor for my digital camera. My camera works great, but is obsolete. I could not find this adaptor locally. I am very disappointed in being charged double shipping, because I ordered two Memory Stick Duo Adaptors. The product cost was $2.08, the shipping charges were $11.90. I was charged two shipping charges, because the item might ship seperately. The actual shipping cost for 1 oz. First Class was $0.88, plus the 5 X 7 envelope. Both adaptors were shipped in the same envelope. So, beware of the shipping charges. I probably will not order from Amazon or Digital Media again.

I notice this item can fluctuate in price so I purchased this for only 47˘! (Shipping was several times more of course, but still worth it). So if you are curious if this adaptor really works, I can tell you that mine did without a problem.
I ordered this along with a separate SanDisk 4Gig Memory Stick Duo pro, and everything worked fine the minute I put them together and inserted it into my older-model Sony digital camera.
I did notice I had to at least take a single photo and have it on the memory stick before my iMac would read the folder. Also, even though the separate memory stick says it has 4 Gigs, according to the computer, there are only 3.72 Gigs available. Not a problem, that's still plenty of space, just thought I'd mention it; I know that sometimes some memory needs to be taken up by the system.
In any case, I'm very happy to have upgraded from the original 256 MB disk that I purchased at the same time I bought the camera, to 3.72 Gigs. The camera can now hold 2000+ photos (versus about 100 previously), which means I can take the camera with me on vacation without fear of running out of space or having to download them to empty out the stick!

I needed this product as my camera is old and my memory stick is no longer available in stores. The price was terrific! The product is great! Easy to use!
