I just got one of these for my PSP Go and it works flawlessly. I got it for less than $40 with free shipping from the seller Komputerbay and got it very quickly. Mine didn't come with an adapter, something I don't need anyway, just the tiny card in a plastic case. Why pay $60-$70 for the Sony brand or even other listings of this exact same Sandisk card? This is exactly what you need for your PSP Go and you aren't paying for the fancy retail packaging.

This is my first review. I was very skeptical when I ordered/bought it as I have been searching for more than 3 months after buying 3 PSP Go. Finally, took the plunge and bought this item # SDMSM2-016G-K. I tried to search on the web but couldn't even find the same item #. Received and tested it yesterday by loading 2 of the 3 units with up to 14GB of videos. I opened all the videos and quickly scan through them and they worked. Tested the last one with H2testw 1.4 (flash memory testing software) and all went well.

I have used both the USB adapter that came free (but need to pay of nominal shipping) and original Sandisk adapter for the test and the speed is similar. Do note that the picture of the free USB adapter shows Sandisk USB adapter lookalike, but they are different.

Pros: Best bang for the buck. All 3 worked (first try since I have only received it last night) on my PSP Go.

Cons: Speed is really slow. Took more than 2 hours to load about 14GB worth of files. Speed is about 2MB/s for write and 6MB/s read. Furthermore, left with about 14GB space after formatting on my PSP Go.

I purchased this card with the intention to use it with my PSP Go. Since the Go already has 16gb of internal memory this basically doubles the memory. It works just as expected and now I can hold several games and movies on my Go. The great part is that they also sell an adapter so that you can use this on other products that use the memory stick pro duo. This is certainly a better deal than buying an official Sony branded M2; it's the same quality for a fraction of the price.

i payed 26 dollars for a 16 gig m2 card from komputer bay. they sent me a cheap, plastic m2 reader!

Update-I ordered a replacement from Blue Proton and it was perfect. The m2 card's data transfer speed is just a bit slow. Overall, great product-4 stars. Just remember. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FROM KOMPUTER BAY!!! Like i said previously, you'll be paying 26 dollars for a cheap adapter sold for 2 dollars.

This 16GB M2 Micro Memory Stick turned my Sony Ericsson W518A cellphone into a very nice, huge-capacity, portable music player. It is a great buy at just over $2/GB for this very small sized chip.

I paid a little over $20 for my 4 GB memory stick micro + pro duo adapter half a year ago, now this is $20. I'm kinda sad I didn't wait, but at least I don't have memory issues anymore on my PSP.

I installed Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Dissidia to my memory stick, didn't notice any maaajor loading differences with Dissidia(the load times were fast earlier, nothing to really notice) but with Birth by Sleep it's kinda required for a flawless framerate. I'm getting Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in a week or two, and it looks like I'd need to install that to my memory stick to be able to play it with great load speeds as well.
The games installed in about ten minutes each, and they all take up over 500 MB of data. The read and write speeds aren't noticeably better or worse than any other memory stick I've used in the past.

My only real issues with the memory stick are that it's wayyyy too small(could easily get lost if you're not careful) and that it's 16 GB but it ends up being 14 GB in the end; I totally didn't think about that when I bought the thing. Still, 14 GB is more than enough for 20 average-sized PSP games, more music than I'd ever need and a few episodes of Justice League all at once, I'd really need to waste space to use it all up.

If you own a PSP or a PSP Go do yourself a favor and get this thing, it's the best memory option on the market for PSP systems. Just remember to get a memory stick pro duo adapter along with it, those things usually cost $1 to $2.

This m2 card is great. I bought it for my psp and it worked no problem and I got it for half of what they want for a "Sony PSP" 8 gig m2 card. If you're looking to expand your storage on anything that takes this size card, including the psp go, I highly suggest you go with this.

It seems like the 1gb and 2gb sticks that sony came out with aren't big enough for anything. I'm glad I found this baby and used an adapter. Works great together. You will be saving money and feeling smart about it. :-)
