4.0 out of 5 stars Sandisk 32GB ULTRA SDHC SD Card
To date, the Sandisk 32GB ULTRA SDHC SD Card is the largest SD Card available for space-conscious users. This card will work well for simple powershot cameras, recorders, mp3 players, and much more. In fact, we use this card specifically with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i 15.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens...

3.0 out of 5 stars Died at the 2 year mark
It was a great card for two years, but now it's corrupted and can't be reformatted. (I've tried it in all different cameras, tried online troubleshooting, RescueMe, etc.) I regularly remove photos from it so I didn't lose anything major, but it's still sad to see my $100 die.

On the other hand, it's half that price now, so... do I replace it with another one of...

4.0 out of 5 stars Sandisk 32GB ULTRA SDHC SD Card, June 24, 2009
This review is from: Sandisk 32GB ULTRA SDHC SD Card Class 6 w/ RescuePro Software (SDSDH-032G) (Electronics)
To date, the Sandisk 32GB ULTRA SDHC SD Card is the largest SD Card available for space-conscious users. This card will work well for simple powershot cameras, recorders, mp3 players, and much more. In fact, we use this card specifically with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i 15.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.

Unfortunately, this model is 15MB/s, which is rather slow for higher-capacity devices, like the Edirol R-09HR High-Resolution WAVE/MP3 Recorder. When using this device, we used to get the message, "Memory Card Slow." However, after switching to a faster card, such as the 30MB/s, which is offered at 16GB: SanDisk 16gb Extreme® III 30MB/s Edition SDHC High Performance Card, our recorder worked perfectly. Note that most electronic devices will not encounter slow-errors, but the possibility was worth mentioning.

I've never once had any issues with any sandisk cards. Never had any pictures or videos lost. I bought this because I intend to increase the amount of video I shoot. I thought the price was right for the quality I've always gotten.

Update 4/15/2010

I used this card on a recent trip to Disney World. I recorded full parades, illuminations, the festival of the lion king and the Osborne family spectacle of dancing lights. This was used in my Canon Powershot sx10is. All videos and pictures turned out just fine. I've never had any problems using any sandisk ultra 2 cards.

Not much to say about a memory card. It fits the Kodak Zi8 and does what it's supposed to do. Add an extra battery and you'll get many quality hours of HD video on the fly.

On the other hand, it's half that price now, so... do I replace it with another one of the same? Sandisk does have a great rep. Or get a different brand just because of this one card? Decisions, decisions.

This is a great card. I use it for my regular camera, video camera and to transfer files between computers. I would recommend getting a cheap USB adapter for computers that don't have a SD card slot.

Great card. great for not having to switch cards or worry about losing them. Not the fasted when compared to a class 10, you can certainly tell the difference when shooting in burst mode, but if your taking more than 5 frames a second get a camera with a CF slot. Good value for the money and never had any reliability or corruption issues.

The size makes it a wise choice because you dont run out.

This card works great for capturing HD video (720P). There is little to no lag time while the camera writes the video data to the card. File transfer times to my PC are acceptable. I wouldn't recommend anything less than class 4 for HD video.

In my experiences SanDisk SD cards are some of the most reliable flash chips around. I have never had data corrupted or missing using a SanDisk SD. I have seen people lose data due to corruption on other brands of flash chips. Do yourself a favor, spend the money & get an SD card you can rely on. You really get what you pay for in flash memory. My advice would be to stick with SanDisk.
