They were laughing out loud while they were playing, so I'm thinking that the "fun" level is pretty high. They loved that you could steal bases (and apparently that's what was so humorous).
Having only played the Wii Sports baseball, they said that this is "way better," and I agree. The graphics are great, and there are lots of neat options.
*In a multi-player game you can select the length of the game, opting for fewer innings.
*There are some mini-games which my 6-year-old liked, but my 11-year-old said were too easy.
*There is a story mode for single player which allows the winner to better customize his team. In this mode, you can only play full games, which my 11-year-old didn't like. However, my 6-year-old doesn't mind it, and as the one who would be buying the game, I like the fact that the story mode will take a while -- that he can't just opt for shorter games and be finished with the game.
