I'm not a kid, but they don't let you post anonymously, so...this is a favorite magazine of mine because it has so many different styles and techniques. You can find traditional, sharp clothing as well as accessories, children's and men's items on occasion, but it focuses on female clothing, and a decent number of patterns per issue. The occasional broken English phrasing adds to its charm and it has measured diagrams in the back so you can see the measurements of the component pieces you are making. My only dislikes are 1. it's so expensive for the subscription (it's imported, what can you do :) 2. the paper it is printed on is somewhat thin, almost like a color newsletter and 3. I wish it had patterns for larger-sized women - it's generally sized for the teen/slim woman figure. Because of the ideas and stitch patterns I'd never give up my subscription, which is saying a lot - I try to only purchase from companies that give more size options but this magazine is worth it anyway. The special Children, Baby, and Christmas issues are separate subscriptions but excellent as well.

This was a renewal of a magazine subscription purchased as a gift for my wife. She was thrilled to receive the first year issues, and requested the renewal. She is saving all of the issues so that she can review the patterns again as she has time to plan her future knitting efforts. A real good investment for knitting enthusiasts. Could have given a 5-star rating if the price was a little lower, but no complaints about the value.

"Sandra" has been one of my favorite knitting magazines since I started buying it. I like the instructions, they are very clear and easy to understand, and the designs are very nice.

The knitting directions are very easy and come with charts. I highly recommend if you are a knitter, to check out this magazine. They have great patterns that are chic and stylish.
