Pitchfork says...,

This review is from: Sandwich (Audio CD)
This is hands down one of my favorite-favorites and has quickly carved out an fixed spot in my go-to repertoire of great music. Okay I admit I can't be a non-partial reviewer, so don't take my word for it, listen to the authorities. I'm quoting from Orchard's Audio Newsletter For Tastemakers, which quotes Pitchfork: Uptempo and jangly rave-up from Charlotte, NC rockers. Combines the best elements of Southern rock, early punk and indie rock. "Bobby Freedom's ecstatically snappy riffing sounds like he's trying to make up for that last Strokes album, and Frank Backgammon's excitable vocals make 'pissed off and broke as hell` seem like an attractive lifestyle choice." "Sandwich" Great songs and innovative performances,
This review is from: Sandwich (MP3 Download)
This album is an interesting variety of styles and songs that get stuck in your head. On top of that the instrumentation and production are innovative and fresh.
