There are a few things one knows when getting a gooseberry book, the recipes will be appealing and the book is not the cut and paste rip-off that has infected the kindle cookbook offerings.
I was surprised by the lack of a TOC, interactive or not. The authors know how to make links, there are four or five in the introduction. I realized eventually there is an interactive TOC, at the end of the book. Although I would have preferred it at the beginning for ease of use, at least it's there.
There are 34 sandwiches offered here, the last two are dessert types, an ice cream sandwich and a delicious sounding tropical sandwich using pound cake.
The recipes are easy to follow, basic ingredients, nice combinations. You won't find anything to outlandish but a good overall choice of sandwiches.
The cookbook also includes a barbecue sauce recipe for the barbecue pork, but this is one of the few recipes not sandwich, this is strictly a sandwich book, not sandwich and sides:)

This is a nice collection of sandwich recipes, with lots of cheerful Gooseberry Patch recipe suggestions and tips. I particularly like the Beef Stroganoff sandwich, Rose petal sandwich, and Beef Poor Boy. YUM! The cookbooklet even includes a recipe for an icecream sandwich.
As usual, every offering from gooseberry patch is a quality offering, and if you like these small books, you should give the larger (particularly the holiday), cookbooks a try. I love and collect them all.

You can't fail with Gooseberry Patch. They include fun and easy recipes in every cookbook. I downloaded this one today because it contains many recipes from my larger Gooseberry Patch collection. I use these recipes in the cafe. My customers rave on about my down home comfort food. I never go anywhere without using a recipe from GP. Thank you.
