Awsome heavy duty radio!,

I had this radio for two weeks now and it's awsome! Picks up many stations on both the AM and FM band. The sound quality is excellent due in part to the 6 1/2" speaker with extended bass. The unit seems very rugged and well made. I hooked a dynamic microphone to it and it works very well as a public address system. I bought a set of 10000 Ah NiMh batteries for this radio which I expect to last a very long time. The radio seems to be advertized as using 4 size D cells although mine takes 6 size D cells which is no big problem. If your in need of a rugged great sounding radio, take a close look at this GEM! ..........Richard from PA
