4.0 out of 5 stars Nice dish
But not worth more than the Amazon sale price I paid. Very big. I was able to use it to make a small turkey over the holidays. Cleans up nicely.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly short life span
I only had the lasagna pan for a short time and used it maybe four times. It was in the oven and simply broke into three large pieces. It didn't go from cold to hot or hot to cold, it was just in the oven and broke. I don't know what was wrong with it, but I am having a hard time contacting the company.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after one use, February 10, 2007

Beautiful looking but the quality is sub-par to say the least. I had bought this piece along with two bowls which had plastic lids. This one broke after one use, the lids didn't fit my bowls. Poor to no quality control in this product.

1.0 out of 5 stars broke in two the second time, July 21, 2008

I guess I should have known when it happened the first time, but I bought the dish a second time and it broke in two again. Caused to have a fire in the stove, because of the oil that dripped on the heating unit. So be careful. I will NOT buy it again. I'm really pissed, because I have the other dishes and I like how it looks.

3.0 out of 5 stars I don't know what to think, January 25, 2008
I LOVED this dish! The color is so beautiful. Unfortunately, it cracked down the middle. I thought this was my oven, but from another review, maybe it really is the dish. :[

I made lasagne, put it in the oven at 350 degrees and the dish completely cracked in half.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it!!, October 14, 2008
I bought my daughter the Dinner ware and additional serving pieces for Christmas 2007. The first time she used the Lasagna Dish it broke in the oven. I would not recomend buying it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke down the middle while in oven, December 12, 2007
We got this dish for our wedding a year and a half ago to match the rest of our Sango set - which hasn't held up as well as I would hope. Tonight I was baking chicken drumsticks in the oven, and about halfway through the 45-minute baking cycle, I heard a quiet cracking sound. When I went to pull the dish out of the oven later, I discovered it had cracked clean down the middle and was split in two pieces.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not waste your money, May 28, 2010
I went through my kitchen and replaced just about all my dinner ware and serving ware with Sango Nova Blue ware. It was quiet pretty and looked terrific when serving different dishes. The blues really made the food pop visually. Unfortunately, within a year, just about all of the dish ware was destroyed. I do not have a dishwasher, so everything is hand washed, but that should not make any difference anyway. Everything was developing micro cracks within months leaving me with chips on just about everything. When the dishes started falling apart (and I do mean that they would fall apart just sitting in the cabinet, just holding them when washing, or even while serving dinner) I had had enough. I threw at all away and replaced everything. While it looks pretty, this stuff is truly junk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these bakers, April 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
No problems here, either. I've broken or chipped a few, but it was always human error (dropping them, banging them around). While they're certainly not as rugged as pyrex, they haven't proved unnaturally delicate. I've owned 5 total. The chipped one has retired to my counter to hold the odd loose spices that don't fit in the spice racks & it looks dandy.

I've had the square and the rectangle bakers since 2005. Both have gotten a great deal of use and many compliments, and I'm pleased at how cheap they always are on Amazon. The dark, rustic glaze means they still look great when you take out a slice of bubbly, crusty lasagna (unlike my pretty emile henry bakers, with the pristine white interiors).\

I don't typically store dishes in them in the freezer. Instead, I oil the pan, then line it with foil or parchment before assembling lasagna or enchiladas, freeze it in the dish, then lift out the contents and wrap and freeze without the dish. When I cook, I unwrap & return the frozen solid food to the dish & let it thaw before cooking. That way, I hope it's easier on the dish & I can also use it while there's food in the freezer, but it fits the dish perfectly so I can serve it in the pretty baker instead of one of those disposable tin things.

After all the cracking reviews, I will be careful, but I just had to chime in with a good review because I have several & haven't experienced those problems myself.
