Finally, the shoes I remember, February 10, 2010
I have worn Dansko shoes for 10 years. When Dansko split from Sanita, the quality and the fit of the shoes changed drastically. I have always worn a 37 but when the two companies split I could not find a single pair of Dansko's that fit. This is the first pair of Sanita's that I have ever bought and I will NEVER waste my time or money with another pair of Dansko's again. These shoes fit the way that I remember my old Dansko's used to fit. True to size and color. Great, great deal.

Excellent work shoes, February 10, 2010
I work in a profession that requires me to be on my feet 8-10 hours per day, and also requiring a non-slip/skid shoe. I have ordered thru companies that quarentee no slip, however they broke down within 3-4 months. I have now worn these clogs for 3 months and love them. The arch helps in your support and I no longer go home with my feet and legs hurting from standing all day.
The leather and workmanship are excellent. They are very easy to clean and come with instructions on how to clean which ever type of leather you purchased. They are also dressy looking allowing dress pants or jeans. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Sanita v's Dansko, August 16, 2011
I wrote this under Sanita Purple 2nd's clog as well. You see I have used everyone else's reviews to purchase goods and they have been so very helpful in making my decisions and people's reviews have been spot on and saved me $$$ So I hope you find this helpful.
I wanted something that you can stand all day in and the people at the hospital all wear clogs. So, I did my clog research and found that Dansko and Sanita appear to be "the" clogs to wear. I have found in my research that apparently Dansko clogs were made by Sanita until 2007, however Dansko are now manufactured in China but Sanita are still manufactured in Denmark. Now, I have never owned a pair of clogs previously so, this is a completely unbiased opinion based on what I have observed.
Since I had no idea which clogs would be better I purchased both a pair of Dansko clogs and Sanita clogs in the SAME size. I got both clogs around the same date and I put them side by side to compare the two bands.
Both were around the same length, so sizing was comparable. I found that the Sanita clogs were narrower in fit than the Dansko, both across the heel (width) and across the "broad" part of the foot. Now, I have a narrow foot and the Sanitas fitted beautifully, the Danskos were too wide. However, if you have a medium to wide foot, I would say that you would be better off going with a Dansko, but if you have a medium to narrow foot you would be better off with a Sanita. I'm guessing if you are a medium it would depend upon your preference of how the clog would fit. If you prefer a closer fit go with the Sanita, if you like a wide fit go with the Dansko. In any case, both clogs feel nice and comfortable on the ground, so if you're standing all day it should not be a bother. It would only be a problem if you have to walk. I found the Dansko's hard to walk in only because they are too wide for me.
